You find yourselves wondering, are we alone on this world?

Somewhere, somehow, a creature of unimaginable power shakes its head.

The Stockholm Peace Treaties are signs, remoulding Europe. The Commonwealth is restored, containing all previous lands. Belarus is initially independent but after a coup, it becomes part of the Commonwealth. West Ukraine becomes its own state with autonomy. Russia gains parts of Ukraine and Belarus. France is fully restored with a new government. It is allowed to regain Normandy and Alsace-Lorraine but Italy annexes parts of the south and incorporates it into its autonomous Provençal region. France receives 70% of the region's industrial output but must pay 1.5 million Francs. Spain annexes parts of the south. Germany is split in half, with the north German states being re-organised to make them more powerful individually. The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and the Commonwealth all receive parts of Germany and Danzig is put under UCON protection. Romania annexes parts of Ukraine that they were promised. The Entente becomes part of UCON.

Entente forces arrive at the Belarus-Ukraine border and realising that they cannot win, Ukraine signs an armistice with the Entente, officially ending the war. Delegates from across the continent now travel to Stockholm to decide the terms of the peace.

Germany signs an armistice with the Entente, ending the war between them.

Welcome to the Republic of Orpal. It's the turn of the 20th century and the civil war is over, now comes the task of rebuilding.

Orpal enters a golden age as the economy booms and the standard of living greatly increases across the republic. The president and prime minister are both lauded as heroes of the people.

Construction of the dam continues to be stalled due to dangerous conditions and the discovery of a flaw in the floodgates designs, leading to further delays.

The post office is motorised as the stables are expanded and replaced with garages for motor vans.

With government backing the aerodrome expands into a proper airport and a zeppelin hangar is built.

Widespread housing developments start to be completed and are quickly filled by Centaton's growing population.

The CEF and the Netherlands begin a co-ordinated attack and begin to push in unison in an attempt to split Germany. The UK begins to help the war effort and takes control of much of the Rhineland, crippling Germany's economy. In the east, Polish forces advance north and reach the Baltic Sea, cutting Germany off from East Prussia and its occupied lands in Lithuania.

The CEF manages to push back Germany with much of Bavaria and Württemberg being captured as well as most of Silesia and all of Saxony. The Netherlands reverses the German offensive and restores the Kingdom of Hanover and Grand Duchy of Oldenburg but continues its occupation of key cities such as Bremen. Lithuania collapses and Polish forces occupy much of the country while Sweden and Latvia occupy parts of the north and Germany, attempting to salvage what's left of the Central Powers, occupies the west. Seeing this, Belarus joins the Entente, putting pressure on Ukraine. Arabia, realising that the Central Powers will lose the war, leaves the alliance.

Half a century has passed since "Project Twilight" by the Nova Singaporeans and the following nuclear and thermonuclear retaliation. In total, 4x 10MT, 1x 5MT, 2x 2MT, 1x 1MT, 8x 500KT, 11x 100KT, 1x 60KT, 2x 50KT, 27x 40KT, and 1x 20KT devices were used in the few hours where 2.8 million died in 1078. 56.36 megatons of TNT was scattered across the map. There are now notable craters still around the map, the entirety of North Nova Singapore Island is gone. You can't shake the feeling that there is still many many many more nuclear bombs.

First map is the radioactive areas directly after Midnight, and the second is the map in 1130.

For just a second, between the movement of two clouds layers, something pale traced itself across the sky, it was milky white, then a second later is was gone, those who saw it couldn't understand what they saw, only that it was brief and very, very old.

Germany launches an offensive against the Netherlands and is able to push into Friesland due to Dutch troops being occupied in France. However, many pockets of those who support the Dutch remain. Germany also pushes back the CEF and invades parts of Austria.

Pass the 18th Amendment, establish prohibition? (I know most people likely want to say "no" to this because of the possible repercussions; however, at this time, these repercussions were obviously not known, and people thought that illegalizing alcohol would actually make the United States much better. I want you to actually imagine yourself as people of this time. Also it makes the lore/rp better if we do pass it and don't just not do it due to already knowing the result)

Events:

Portugal joins the war on the side of the Entente, honoring their age old alliance with Great Britain.

The Ottomans are forced to surrender to advancing British and French forces, leading to the country being occupied.

Advancing Greek and Italian forces, no longer constrained by Ottoman pressure, cause Bulgaria to surrender. Serbia, Romania and Montenegro are liberated.

Czechoslovakia and the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs declare independence from Austria-Hungary, seeing the collapse of the Central Powers.

Due to advancing Romanian forces and various revolts, Hungary declares independence and causes the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian union.

Austria signs an armistice with the Entente. In the following days, the Kaiser of Austria abdicates and a republic is declared.

Due to advancing French forces and various occupation resistance movements, the German population revolts against the crown, declaring a republic and signing an armistice.

Serbia and Montenegro form a union. Later, the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs joins the union, forming the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (later Yugoslavia).

Sweden signs an armistice with the Entente, largely surrounded and without necessary supplies from its allies.

The US evacuates Africa, leaving the continent to the Entente. However, most American forces make it out alive.

Central America is bulldozed and Bermuda is seized by the United States, signifying the complete eviction of the Entente from the Americas. With little to no other options, it is decided to sign a white peace at 12:12, on December 12th, 1918. The 12th minute of the 12th hour of the 12th day of the 12th month.

The Spanish Flu begins to cause chaos world-wide.

Daylight Saving Time is largely adopted in order to gain more daytime for the war effort.

A giant Polish uprising occurs, which swears allegiance to the Danubian Federation, which becomes the Central European Federation. Romania advances further into Ukraine and pushes them out of their borders. With this defeat in Poland, the Entente push further into the Germany, especially the Netherlands, with north west Germany joining them. France capitulates after Italy liberates Paris, and the country is occupied.

Re-cap of what happened on Day 8:

-The Ottomans and Afghanistan both claimed parts of Antarctica (ngl I'm pretty sure Belorussia did too, but I forgot to add it, oopsie)

-The UK finished it's invasion of Niger

-France has begun excavating Paris to place it into orbit

-One of the French mars colonies became an independent nation

-France annexed all of Japan except Honshu, which became their puppet

-The Ottomans annexed Greece and Jordan

Castille annexes Andalusia and unites with Aragon. The United Baltic Duchy begins to collapse. Italy pushes into France, capturing Marseille and Lyon. West Ukraine joins Danubia. Germany annexes Poland. Assyrian rebels gain more territory. Russia invades Ukraine.

Romania, Bulgaria, Russia and Spain join the Entente. Spain begins an invasion of France although it's much slower than Italy's, which they plan to connect with, due a lack of modern weaponry. The United Baltic Duchy capitulates to Sweden and Latvians forces occupy much of the south and continue their push into Belarus. Italy launches an large offensive to the north in hopes of being the ones to reach Paris first. This results in Normandy, with British help, doing the same. Romania continues pushing into Ukraine with the help of Bulgaria and Ukrainian forces are almost completely removed from northern Romania. Russia manages to capture parts of eastern Ukraine. Germany pushes back the Danubian Federation and begins a surprise invasion of Czechoslovakia in order to capture Prague. The Hashemite Kingdom of Arabia officially joins the Central Powers in hopes of receiving assistance with the growing Assyrian rebellion.

Remake and expansion of an older map

Germany and Ukraine begin a simultaneous offensive against the Commonwealth and the country collapses. The Commonwealth splits into 4 new German and Ukrainian clients. Ukraine receives East Galicia although it becomes autonomous. Germany creates the United Baltic Duchy in the north as a German colonial state and annexes Saaremaa and Hiiumaa.
