22F, super insecure of them :( I feel like they make my legs look dumb/lazy.
are they noticeable? if so, is there anything non-surgical i can do to improve the appearance of them?
I used to blame my chair for everything.
Then I fixed the chair height, raised my monitor, moved my keyboard closer, and tried to stop sitting like a shrimp all day.
It helped a little. My lower back feels better.
But my neck still gets tight by the end of the day, especially if I’ve been working too long or scrolling on my phone after work like an idiot.
So now I’m starting to think maybe the chair was only part of the problem. Maybe I also just never actually relax my neck and shoulders after sitting all day.
I’ve been trying short stretches and looking at the neck massager as a low-effort evening routine because it has heat and seems easy to use while sitting. Has anyone found a realistic routine they actually stick with?
**You’re not tired. You’re slowly getting injured.**
# Read that again.
That neck pain? Not random. That back stiffness? Not “just age.” That wrist discomfort? Not because you worked hard today.
It’s because your body has been quietly taking damage… every single day.
And the worst part? You don’t even notice it happening.
**We’ve normalized this:**
•Working from beds
•Sitting for 8–10 hours straight
•Looking down at screens all day
•Ignoring pain until it becomes unbearable
Pain has become part of “normal work life.”
But here’s the truth no one tells you: **Your body keeps score.**
Every bad posture… Every ignored discomfort… Every “I’ll fix it later”…
It adds up.
Until one day: You can’t sit comfortably. You can’t work without pain. You can’t ignore it anymore.
And by then, it’s no longer a small fix.
The scary part? This is preventable.
Not with expensive chairs. Not with fancy setups.
**But with awareness.**
**Small changes. Done daily:**
•Raise your screen
•Sit like your spine matters (because it does)
•Take breaks before your body begs for them
Because once damage becomes chronic, you don’t “fix” it… you manage it.
Don’t wait for pain to teach you what awareness could have.

Ok my shoulder blades have always stuck out ever since I was a kid. Then I started weight training and climbing and now it just looks STRANGE
I was told scapular winging goes away if you strengthen your back but as you can see, my back is pretty strong from climbing and they still stick out.
I’ve tried EVERYTHING. Strengthening my back and chest hasn’t helped. I’ve tried doing serratus exercises but idek where I feel it. At this point I think I should see a physical therapist but it would probably be a waste of money tbh. Has anybody come up with a solution to this?
Not to mention my shoulders round forward.
