Can’t stop laughing at S4
I’m halfway through the first EP. What happened 🤣, for sure the writers changed and they did not watch the previous season at all LMAO.
I understand Gretchen being killed off for making too many mistakes but Whistler dying was wild, defeated the whole purpose of building him up for an entire season.
Michael getting caught by police on the phone booth and being non chalant, like getting caught the other times wasn’t the worst thing imaginable
Sucre going to the hospital is understandable because the brother has never been the smart tool in the shed
T bag falling for the easiest scam when he’s always been smarter than that
Bellick being super friendly with Sucre and Scofield XD
Sara being alive 🤣
Them assembling like the avengers like half of them weren’t trying to rip each others throats for 3 seasons straight 🥲🤣
Gotta be some nepo baby writer that came in behind the scenes I swear because this writing is absolute comedy and I’m here for it
Lincoln before being famous from PB
Did you know that lincoln got famous for a show he did prior to prison break (2002-2003) called john doe and i gotta tell you his performance is hilarious (he got full hairs here wich is weird to look at) just wanted to share this if some of yall doesnt know and maybe check the show out i got impressed its actually a good show , and btw there aloot of extras from prison break acting in this show
The plot and many scenes are exactly those of limitless 2011 now i know from where they got inspired to make that movie , so underrated
What are some other prision series or movies that you guys would recommend?
Recently watched Black Bird which I highly recommend.
Finally finished Prison Break
Been watching it over the last 3 months. At the start, I was completely hooked, but from Season 3 onwards it started feeling stretched out.
A lot of the prison breaks and major events had this long build-up, but the payoff always felt rushed. The Company's ending and especially Poseidon's downfall felt way too quick for how much they hyped them up.
The Panama prison had a few great moments, but overall it felt pretty repetitive. And the whole Michael vs Lincoln conflict near the end just seemed unnecessary.
As for the Yemen prison and the civil war storyline... yeah, I'm just going to pretend that never happened. I have no idea what they were thinking bringing the show back after 5 years just for that season.
One thing that stayed consistent though Linc somehow managed to bang almost every woman he met during the mission.
Nice that fernando had enough time to shave his head whilst Linc was dying!
I have another video but also want to know on what next i should make a video
youtu.beWould it have made much of a difference if they just set season 5 12 years later like in real time?
SPOILERS!!
So, the original 4 seasons were all set in 2005 and obviously Michael’s death date was in November 2005 (I believe). But then in season 5 they changed the timeline to fit with the 7 years later as the season came out it 2017. Would it have really made much of a difference if they just set it 12 years later to fit with the real timeline. One thing that didn’t really make sense to me was that TBag was sent back to Fox River for only 7 years? 12 years wouldn’t have been enough either, but 7 years? Does anyone actually know why they changed the timeline? It’s annoying watching season 5 knowing that Michael instead died in 2010?
Which character's life would've been the most different if they had never met Michael?
Best Show most similar to Prison break
No spoilers here
Context, I watched the entirety of these shows in order —> Prison Break, Money Heist, The Mentalist, Sherlock BBC (and both movies + Arsene Lupin movies), Hannibal NBC (and all movies) , Death Note, True Detective S1+S2 only, Limitless (movie + show)
These shows you perhaps heard are great alternatives for Prison Break. I’ve seen others such as Lupin, Psych, WhiteCollar, but I haven’t seen too many good reviews on them to watch myself.
The Blacklist is a 10 season show, you can find information on it but I would say I just started season 3, but this show is most similar to prison break.
I’ll try to not spoil but essentially every aspect regarding prison breaks s3-s5 is similar to The Blacklsit but in a more global operative setting and in my opinion way more interesting and action packed with the plot twists at least but I’m not one to talk I just started. I’ve watched many crime drama shows but this one is perfect in similarity to Prison Break.
If you want more questions reply below otherwise The Blacklist is the best possible alternative to watch after Prison Break imo.
We will not go quietly into the night! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!
Pope’s speech at the end of season one always makes me think he’s doing the Prison Break version of Bill Pullman’s Independence Day speech.
S4 ENDING 🥹❤️🩹
The ending of season 4 will never stop to make me cry.
First of all, the shots with the music Lay It Down in the background are incredible. Very good choice of music.
Don Self becoming a vegetable (the scene is powerful).
Krantz execution
T-Bag back in Fox River
Kellerman becoming a congressman
And finally, Sara and Mike bringing flowers to Michael's grave accompanied by Lincoln, Sucre and Mahone. This moment with the 5 of them standing at Michael's grave was so freaking emotional.
When you watch this little family you can't help but think about all the moments with Michael.
Mike bringing the flower to his dad's grave is definitely to kill us.
I'm so glad to have Sucre and Mahone with them. Sucre has been a brother to the brothers and Sara since day 1 and the way he is being playful with Mike tells you he never stopped caring.
And as for Mahone, it's even more special given his incredible journey since day 1 and his relationship with Michael ever since he started chasing him. He grew admiration toward him.
Who would think that he would have stood in front of Michael's when you think about where they started.
And the funnier part is that now that we know that Michael is alive I can't help but wonder imagine he had sneaked in (imagine eh we never know) what he would have thought about that and how he would have reacted.
Kinda insane when you think that all of this started with Fox River and a door open.
Getting Into It ... 🥳
I just finished The Mentalist, and will now start this one here for the first time. Well, not really. I remember my mom and grandma watching this show on the TV when I was a kid, so I hope this will take me back down a good ... almost 20 years?? (wtf)
Expectations are high and mighty because everyone loves this show, plus the edits are way too cool. I'm ready to be emotionally invested, and I am especially ready to lurk on this sub. So, hello :')
Why did Michael make so many tattoos?
I understand the tattoos needed for some heavy stuff like the blueprints of Fox River or the Devil's face so the holes would be perfectly exact, but I just cannot imagine any reason for some of them like the Christ in a Rose or even Rip Chance Woods. Like surely someone like Michael can be bothered to remember a few pretty distinct names or things that he would've had to dedicate some pretty decent time to setting up. Staking out a grave and digging and stashing all the supplies for Rip Chance Woods and making calls or whatever was needed to get the Christina Rose with that lady. I get that it was probably just there in the show so that Mahone had a way of keeping up with them because plot needs to plot, but do you guys think there was any legitimate reasons for some of these tattoos?
Can’t believe I never noticed this callback before in season 3
On my third or so rewatch and I never caught this before. Clever to have Haywire use the same words as he did right before he jumped
No matter if it's prison break or the flash these 2 have good chemistry. I think they need to do more projects together lol.
The Final Break. Michael's smartest move?
We always wonder what Michael's smartest move was. Was it Final Break? I mean, getting Sara out of prison, with the FBI watching, that was truly smart.
Sara and Sucre <3
Just to say that I loved all the moments between Sara and Sucre especially during Michael/Sara wedding.
These two definitely developped a great bond.
I also love how he didn't hesitate one second to help Sara break out of prison. This guy was such a loyal and protective brother.
Prison Break season 4 was just Scofield and the gang doing GTA V missions/heists.
Even their warehouse base looks like a GTA V location.
