ill try to keep this short as much as I can but this sub is my last resort please help

i got into relationship with person A (currently my gf) in 2025, while disclosing my past I failed to disclose (not deliberately) that I previously liked her Friend - person B and i never told her about it and this was in 2023, the actual problem was i had complimented person B (her frd) regarding her dress, problem was i was genuinely boundary blind and I clearly wasn't thinking enough about the other side , i had definitely overstepped and i was less thoughtful about boundaries than i am today , my understandings on my thought process are much different now ,this being said to her and here ..the actual problem now is , yesterday we both broke down in a Video call, currently we live 600kms apart as she's doing masters right now and the main problem is, she entered into this relationship thinking i was a decent guy who just compliments people without any bad intention (i genuinely am sometimes) after hearing the conflict of me liking her friend (person B) before and complimenting her on the looks was not from a genuine friendship angle and from a interested subject angle has pissed my gf off, & back in the day her friend(B) had told her the kind of compliments he was giving wasn't too friendly but she had defended me at that time but now (after me disclosing everything in 2026) she finds it as very cheap which is understandable , i told her on call that i fucked up i genuinely made a mistake please forgive me for once as it was a one-time thing and that kind of thing never occurred ever again ...she wants a solution for this issue , as in without that she may not be able to reciprocate the love on me

and this issue for her keeps on coming up in her brain and she keeps on breaking down silently, she's hurting, she's suffering and this angle of me has made her disrespect me which she finds it very difficult because in our relationship I went lengths taking care of her even though I'm not earning (not saying this is an achievement) but the love I have for her is genuine and is above everything to be very honest, when we were accessible until july26 , the comfort of having each other close made her forget about it but now since we are apart it keeps on sucking up her brain

please help me as to how to find a solution for this apart from any therapy, for her its foundational and fundamental issue and it's the same for me too :) i genuinely not that person anymore, she finds it difficult to resonate with my graph as how i have turned out to be and now she genuinely believes me I'm an amazing person to be with but that thought is always eating up her brain

how to make this better relationship better? how to make her feel safe and secured by mitigating that thought and she doesn't really fear im the same boundary blind person anymore its just that with this particular thought she is not in a position to reciprocate any love and i believe this can be solved :) without separating! deep down she loves me but this one thing is such a truaumatic experience for her
