Recently interested in this stop motion movie project called Mad God.
One thing I've slowly noticed about my art is how slightly off and unsettling it is stylistically, and it's something that's carried through from my non ai pixel art to my AI art.
I think it comes from my gender dysphoria in that as a trans person who hasn't gotten access to gender affirming care, the world constantly sits in the uncanny valley for me.
And I think this is why AI art has resonated with me so well.
It's incredibly adept at capturing a view of reality thats dissociated, surreal, just a bit off. I'm also autistic, and take things literally, and behave very algorithmically, so using a mathematical process to produce art appeals to me in that way as well.
When your own internal state is a constant question, when your feelings itself are opaque to you, having a form of art where the communicated message can be a mystery even to the creator, is a true blessing.

Canonically, Dunn Loring doesn’t really care too much about Halloween. Although not nearly as much as Holly Noel. But I couldn’t pass this opportunity to have her dress up as Muffet due to her love of spiders.
