the point of this post is to highlight how there is a huge disproportionality in the hostility toward different communities, which causes people from my standpoint to doubt of the honesty of the ones raising those points, which creates a terrible environment for discussion of those topics.

We can fix things, undoubtedly, people have been literally finding solutions for problems for the entire history. But that is only the case when one sits down to actually analyze the core matter at hand. Getting hyped up and polarizing the discussion into an endless cycle of back-and-forth flaming will only ensure nothing gets done ever.
