I think it's good to remember that we are all still people outside of the discussions regarding AI. We can end up alienating one another and creating broad generalizations, all ragebait memes aside.

For me, I like jogging. Its enjoyable for me and helps me destress a lot. I draw on a sketchpad and art tablet when I feel the need to doodle. I'm in the IT and Engineering field, so I also enjoy watching videos on the latest technology that my career field works with. I also enjoy being a good hostess for my friends at my house.

A question comes up a lot with the ownership of something that AI has touched. I asked this in AIW, but I want to see what the folks here think.

Image 1 was entirely drawn by myself on an art tablet. I then put it into GPT and asked for it to be cleaned up. Image 2 is that with a splash of color in the hair. I worked back and forth with my art tablet and GPT to then get the border.

I obviously made all of Image 1, and Image 2 is collaboration work between myself and the AI on a piece of art entirely made by my hand. It is still very similar to Image 1, just polished.

Putting aside aesthetic preferences. . . Is Image 2 still art? Is it still mine? I would argue I did most of the leg work and did collaborative efforts with AI, so it is still my vision and my work.

But, what do you think? I am actually curious on your thoughts.

Adam is a mischevious cat-like being. Knocking stuff over, being a devious gremlin. . . And starting fires! Batty doesn't like that and tries to save the day, but that darn cat moves fast! Perhaps candles should be fastened down somehow. . .

I love Cult of the Lamb so much, and I’ve especially been enjoying the Woolhaven expansion! My favorite part is getting to see more of the lamb characters, even if they appear as ghosts and spirits, because I absolutely adore their designs. I especially love Koka and her children—oh my gosh, they’re so cute! If I were an adorable little lamb, I’d definitely want to be Koka.

When I looked around online, I noticed there wasn’t much artwork of the ghost lambs, so I decided to make some of my own. I hope you all enjoy it!

Instead of endlessly arguing over what is or isn’t art, let’s embrace the many tools people use to express themselves and create together. Pencils and paintbrushes, tablets and software, cameras and AI . . . All can help turn an idea into something meaningful! Creativity should bring us together, not become an excuse for fighting, bullying, or shaming people for how they choose to create.

Someone who creates with AI is still a creative. They are just someone ne who happens to use AI as part of their process. Their work reflects their ideas, choices, imagination, and growing technical skills. AI doesn’t erase the person behind the creation; it becomes another tool through which that person can explore and share what lives inside them.

You don’t have to enjoy AI, use it yourself, or agree with every claim made about it. You may believe it is lazy, soulless, or unethical. . . But those beliefs do not justify attacking or harassing the people who use it. Let artists and creatives choose the tools that work for them, and let’s focus on making, learning, and having fun together. Live and let live.

There will always be critics and there will always be jerks online to throw rude words, but try not to focus on them. The act of creating, through any tool or medium, is creative. Your form of expression shouldn't be dictated by someone online.

Post what you want, make what you want, and be who you are. If folks want to come and be rude to you and push away what you do because of AI, then know that folks like me will be here to embrace you and cheer you on!

I've always been a fan of record stores. It's like a music goldmine with hidden gems scattered throughout. Many times ive found rare records, CDs and even tapes. Whether 15 or 30 or older, something about record stores will always make me a special kind of happy 😊

It has been many, many moons since the Salem witch trials, and thankfully, witch trials are a little less deadly these days. Abigail was never one of Salem’s victims herself. She had enough sense to stay far away from the whole affair and disappear somewhere much darker, wetter, and considerably less welcoming. Still, as an actual witch, she has always found the idea of a trial rather darkly entertaining.

Whenever boredom creeps into her swamp temple, Abigail gathers a selection from her enormous collection of plushies and calls the court to order. The cases can be terribly important. Should she commune with the dead tonight? Is another cursed artifact truly necessary? Does that grocery-store sale justify leaving the swamp and interacting with ordinary people?

With her magic, Abigail could make the proceedings frighteningly realistic. The candles could flare, the shadows could testify, and the condemned could find themselves facing a very genuine executioner. But sometimes it is more fun to sit cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by soft little creatures, and pretend to be judge, jury, and executioner.

And when no one is watching, that is exactly what she does. 🖤⚖️
