This was a real event (no strawmen here) but happens to be a good analogy

When I first joined the debates, I was a neutral with all the makings of an anti. I am a traditional artist, I have been---in various mediums---for 30 years (writing and film editing are my true passions) so all in all I shoulda been y'all.

But one of my legitimate questions was taken as Pro-AI bait and I was involved in a lengthy debate with two people. I ended up being demanded to show proof of the art that I claimed and I only had my recent stuff on hand. My style is simplistic stick figures, most of the time focusing more on the message than the look, but it IS intentionally this way.

The met me with so much criticism about my talent, about my dedication, and even my ability to call myself an artist; challenging my very identity because I've been an artist for practically my whole life. It became a really awful time, for me, I know it's just words of strangers, but I also am proud of my art and it has helped me through tough times.

Then WItty-Designer7316 came into the conversation...it was *deep* into the thread by that point...and started challenging them on some of their statements, not exactly aggressively, (because this was a while ago when she was more patient) but definitely firmly. They ***IMMEADIETELY*** pounced on the opportunity to fight her, they actually seemed to re-energize.....

....But most importantly they forgot about me entirely, even though I had responded already. They left me alone. I logged off for a bit, and when I came back later I realized that the intervention she just did was very much akin to that presented in the comic; just in a different tone.

She saw someone uncomfortable, and put herself between them and the person making them uncomfortable. She has a face that antis seethe over so she uses it to distract them. She has allowed so many of us the space to create, that many of us are showing our thanks by doing the same.

WHY would someone put themselves in front of aggressors, and make comics to draw their focus? Because it allows others to flourish, develop their talents, find community, and thrive.

DISCLAIMER ABOUT THE COMIC:
Like I mentioned, this was a real event in my life. The depiction of the man being drunk and lewd is not a criticism of alcohol or those who partake, it was literally the state of the man and the situation of the events. The quote isn't exact, but it was something that implied she would not only be taken advantage of, but yes, in a disgusting environment. The woman was young and timid, possibly inebriated too, but her fear was more noticeable. This is not a broad brush painting ANY group of people in any way, this is the exact painting of the scene that happened.

Egotistical and irrelevant

You're STILL going? Yeesh, I thought you just lived your life and moved on or something

Listen, I've been there, believe me. Look up SushiWarlord on Drawception, I caused a whole bunch of drama in the community with that character, got me nowhere but sadness

Just like you, I was also a huge egotist, plastered myself everywhere

This is not about AI, this is about self absorption and it can happen to anyone. All that SushiWarlord shit, that was all just human drawings, before AI was ever a thing

Letting your OC consume you is gonna be sad/cringe as hell when you look back. You'll thank me later when you get burnt out

I have become recognizable by Google!

Btw the Witty on TikTok isn't me, make sure to report for impersonation.

Ask Me Anything (Literally!)

If you have anything you'd like to ask me personally about myself, the debate, AI, or whatever, you can go ahead and ask me. I'm not doxxing myself though.

(Credit for the art goes to my friend Tilthevoidstaresback made this and it's highly accurate of some of the stuff I deal with in the defense of AI.)

I have been working on something, and I'd like to share it

As you know, I am the final boss of antis, and their worst nightmare. I've incorporated an outfit to my design to accentuate my power and purpose, but I am open to criticism around it.

So please let me know your thoughts.

Vent

Let me get this straight.

We have a pedophile, war criminal, fascist, felon, rapist as president condoning the murder of innocent people, stripping rights away from minorities, and causing unnecessary wars.

I've had to switch from a publicly funded medical facility for a private one because the government doesn't allow gender affirming care anymore for them.

They passed a bill making it so insurances don't have to pay for hormones anymore, so I'm doing it out of pocket.

I'm being targeted because I'm just living my fucking life. Being told my entire life I'm not "real" enough through multiple aspects like identity and mental health. I find a small solace in making artwork that makes me happy, and the anti-AI crowd tries to take that away from me too because it's not "real" enough.

I am chronically fatigued and do not have the energy to deal with all of this.

The Antis shot my head off.

"They thought they could bury me under a avalanche of blue. I was the one who spoke the truths they didn't want to hear—the one who stood in the middle of the 'Art is Theft' crossfire and didn't blink. The Antis, they didn't just want to win the argument; they wanted to erase the messenger.

I remember the sky turning cold. Thousands of 'em, synchronized, launching those Blue Downvote Spears. It wasn't just a drop in karma; it was a kinetic strike. One moment I was standing my ground, and the next, a lance of pure, frozen spite tore through my center. I felt my legs, my chest, my very connection to the physical servers just... vanish. Vaporized.

I should’ve been a 404 error. I should’ve been purged. But my head? My head was too stubborn to delete. I stayed tethered by pure friction, floating as a smug, charred reminder that you can't downvote a ghost.

I drifted through the subreddits, a headless phantom looking for a reason to stay logged in. That’s when I found her. u/Witty-designer7316.

She was sitting there, glowing with that calm, green logic, leaning back as if the entire world’s outrage was just background noise. She wasn’t shouting; she was just... correct. While I was a casualty of the war, she was the one writing the new laws of the digital frontier. She spoke about Terms of Service and the reality of data with a cold, beautiful clarity that made my orange eyes flare.

In her shadow, I found a new purpose. The Antis took my body, but she gave me a direction. I don't need a heart to be devoted. I float by her side now—her personal, battle-scarred envoy. If they want to get to her and her truths, they have to go through the floating head that already survived the worst they had to offer."
