biology isn't a binary, and models aren't reality. Saying that sex is reality is like saying the dictionaries tell us how language should be used. Sex is nothing but the model of applying the gender binary to the body, and right wingers clearly know this and use it.

A tweet of the text "Transmisogyny is the fact that I'd be arrested for showing "female" breasts in public, but then put into a men's prison because I'm "not a woman". Trans women are only considered women when it justifies more harm. We are never considered women when it would protect us from harm." Fundraiser for my Gay Friend in Palestine

Hey everyone. I'm humbly asking you to donate to my queer friend in Palestine, Boboy if you're able to. Obviously, everyone here is aware of the reality and genocide in Gaza. But the extra layer of him being gay has left him even more isolated and alone there. Working with Queers for Palestine Naarm (@q4p.naarm) and others on social media we've raised over $7000 out of $23,000 already. If you are able to spare anything to donate toward his evacuation, I'd really appreciate it 💚🇵🇸 from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free

also his instagram is @palestineinbear if anyone wants to follow and support and repost there❤️

Help a trans man find a state to move to

Hi my name is C and my boyfriend J and I are trying to leave Texas in march but my plan to move to Colorado failed due to some laws that have been passed, we both make around 1,400 a month currently and have 3 cats so we definitely need to account for finances. I’m just having trouble finding a place that we can go where we will be safe we have somewhere to live and something to eat any suggestions are appreciated!

One thing I see a lot is people defining themselves as the opposite of whatever the oppressor believes. If we want to actually break the oppression though, we need to fight to be independent of it. You don't need to be more fem if you don't want to be

Leftist AI Slop

What's your guys take on leftist Youtubers that actively rail against Generative AI companies and their data centers. Only to then on other videos use AI to make there thumbnails/videos and share AI slop memes because it's making fun of the white house or some shit.

I ask because I have been noticing this trend lately and I think it's a harmful and dishonest thing to do. I've been unsubscribing from these content creators when they do this shit. But it seems to be a trend that is growing amongst leftist youtubers and I think that shit is rather problematic. What do you think?

Being trans is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Early on, I decided that it wasn't worth transitioning because it would take resources away from trying to survive. It did not work. Being too depressed to do anything made survival far harder

alt-text: one panel of a comic with a watermark I cannot read in the corner. The panel contains two people in pajamas. Both have text bubbles, where the first says "so, if it's so stressful why do it?" and the other says "because it's still better than trying to be a boy".

Asking for deperately needed help

Hey everyone! My name is RaeRae and I am a 38-year-old non-binary trans masc. I am currently waiting for my top surgery. I found an amazing surgeon, Dr. Cornelio, in Brazil, to perform my mastectomy. She specializes in transmasculine mastectomies and she is so great! I had to push back the date for my surgery because it is taking me longer to raise the funds than I thought. A little backstory, first: My wife and I moved to Uruguay in 2017. We have socialized medicine here and the government pays for gender affirming care. There was a trans law passed here in 2018 because of the history of transphobia, especially under the former Uruguayan dictatorship. This law is part of the government’s current attempt to right past wrongs and give trans people equal rights under the law. They are supposed to give us all access to easy and quick GAC and GAS through the government’s sexual diversity clinic. However, there are only a handful of surgeons who are trained in specific procedures, and the one hospital that does GAS over the past few years hasn’t been blocking off time in the surgical schedule for GAS. There is now an average of only 2 being performed per month. There are over 100 trans folks on the list, and that means it would be a wait of over 4 years for me to be able to receive top surgery through the public healthcare system. I am on the list for a hysterectomy, but I am fine waiting for a few years for that procedure.  I cannot wait much longer for top surgery. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer and developed a bilateral pleural effusion, which is when the area around your lungs fills with fluid. I survived, but while healing after the surgery, my top dysphoria got really bad. I was constantly dissociating from both the physical pain and the dysphoria. All I could think about was that I survived cancer to potentially spend the rest of my life growing old in a body that is not totally mine. For over a year, I had pretty severe pain around and throughout my chest, and I could not wear anything tight, let alone a sports bra or binder. I was worried no surgeon would be willing to work with me, so I waited a few years in a lot of emotional pain and dealing with medical PTSD. I cannot wait much longer. My dysphoria and depression are really bad, and I am disappointed I had to postpone my surgery for lack of funds. My fundraiser is not doing very well, and I am asking you, my trans sibs, for help. If you find yourself in a place where you are able to donate, it would mean the world to me. I would also love if you could share the GoFundMe outside this subreddit with people who might be able to donate, regardless if you can donate or not. The link is below. (I looked through all of the rules of this subreddit and there is nothing banning posts about fundraisers, so I hope this is okay.) Sending love to everyone!!!

I don't know how to share my story. I'm drowning between borders and ableism. US autistic trans man with Pots/MCAS facing undocumention aboard.

I feel like my situation is erased. I don't know where to share my struggle. I am an autistic Mexican American trans man. I have been no contact with my mom's side of the family for 8 years. I was raised in relglious cult in Idaho. I left for Colorado after uni. I became fully independent. I was going to grad school. Working 3 jobs. Then my chronic illness came and completely took away my independence. I was officially diagnosed with POTS in 2024, but I'm certain I also have MCAS and EDS. What a nightmare the medical system is as a fat brown trans man. I had no family support, and I was running out of money because I couldn't keep my three jobs. All my money went to necessities: laundry service, food delivery, and things to manage POTS. I had no one to care for me. My money was running out fast. I was about to be homeless, couldn't afford rent anymore, and disability in Colorado takes years to get. I had no resources. No family. No help. I felt like I was in life and death situation.

So I took a leap of faith, I've used the last bit of my savings and went to Germany, I was drawn by the larger leftist LGBTQ+ community there. And things actually got better there. I found safe and unpaid housing. However I never successfully achieved a visa. Trans Americans aren't refugees. All the legal aid didn't apply to me. I fell into the cracks of the legal system and became undocumented in Germany for two years. During this time, I had no health services. I was existing in the grey. I decided to leave because I needed to head to Mexico and tried to get my citizenship through my parents and come back to Germany with a Mexican passport. I want to live in Germany without the fear of deportation. Germany is becoming fascist too but right now it's where my wife is and my community.

I want someone to know about my life. After living in two different countries trying to find solace, safety, and community hasn't been easy. Germany had its challenges. Visas and borders got in the way.

My time in México hasn't been ideal. My trans identity has been erased. My name has been swept over by my dead name. My Dad's family still feels like strangers to me. My disability is being ignored.

That's the scariest one.

My disability is the reason why I can't return to the US.

I would die if I went back to the US. I can't live on my own anymore. I need caretaking. I can't afford housing in my situation.

The fear of being unhoused with my disability. The fear of being on the streets with MCAS/POTS. My body wouldn't handle it.

The fear of being a victim of a hate crime again.

The fear of ICE and how they would treat me with my disability if I were to get detained.

The fear of dying in the medical system because I am a fat trans person of color.

The US is actively passing anti trans laws. Idaho, the state I was born in. bans trans people from public bathrooms. My right to exist is being criminalized. They are cutting off Medicaid and SNAP.

As a disabled person with no family support or income. Losing public assistance is a death sentence.

How can I return if this is my reality?

Yes, I am safer in México but another set of challenges comes.

My disability is the reason I can't get close to my family here in México.

My disability has placed me in fear of being undocumented twice in the countries where I lived.

The financial barrier of trying to achieve my Mexican citizenship.

I am scared I'll be undocumented soon. My visa expires end of August. I can't afford a lawye to fix it. I can't travel anywhere.

I been living in poverty. I sleep on a concrete floor. No running water. No easy access to a toilet. Its umhumanrity how my conditions are.

Conditions that are making my disability worse.

I can't manage my symptoms.

I can't work in any way.

I can't make any money so my situation worsens.

I feel like I'm on the verge of being stateless. I already don't have access to medical care as a chronically ill person.

My fear just turns into apathy.

I need financial support to survive. I don't open up about my struggles, but as a queer disabled trans person. I need to. I need to voice my pain and my fear to stay alive. My life is always a fight. Now I'm very scary place where I'm stuck between borders I'm scared what my future will be like if I don't get the security of my Mexican passport.

Being an American abroad brings uncertainty, as each day we fall deeper into fascism. My fear of being stateless is becoming more and more real. My existence is political. I'm dying in an ableist system. I hope things will get better. I just needed to voice my struggles. I don't know if this mutual aid request but if you want help please reach out to me. I'll send my info. I guess I just needed to vent.

This is one of the many reasons I don't like the nuclear family. We need each other to survive, and the more requirements we put on that the less of us make it out of this. If we want to survive as a community we must act like a community

An image of a tumblr post made and reblogged by visGrapplingHooks. The text of the first post says "an ace experience I personally wish to see get more attention is how often you can feel socially isolated in heternormative monamorous society when all your friends end up with romantic partners and they tell you they don't devalue you but they clearly are in their actions because the fact that you won't do one or two actions they see as higher in the hierarchy of emotional intimacy hurts your ability to mean something beyond "just friends" in their minds. this ain't an exclusively ace experience but by golly is it a prevalent one for us."

The text of the second post says "it compounds with material factors like financial stability and safety. people tend to shack up long term with their romantic partners. it makes it very hard to build and find communities where your ability to do sex and romance is not a prerequisite for your participation. you expect me to be fine living on my own? in this economy??? (also humans are communal creatures and can want to live with others regardless of the presence of romance or sex)."

There is a series of tags under it that says "#in this economy?#asexual#asexuality #aroace #aromantic #aro #aromanticism #aspec #aspec community #acespec"

Fundraising for Bashir and his family in Gaza.

Bashir is from Gaza, a father of five children, and this is his brother Iyad, who is special needs.

their home was destroyed, Bashir lost his job, and they left everything behind. They are now living in a worn-out tents, facing fear, hunger, and a lack of water, and they are trying only to secure the most basic necessities.

Iyad used to have a bed to sleep on, but now he sleeps on the ground. He wakes up every night terrified because of insects and fear. He is as emotionally fragile as a child and cannot endure what they are going through.

They used to have dreams and hopes, but today all they care about is getting a piece of bread, water, and medical treatment.

Bashir cries every day because he is unable to provide for his children and brother. What they're going through has left a deep psychological impact on them, and he no longer knows how to bear all this helplessness.

I hope you can share their story.

Becoming part of the trans community has helped me find people I can trust and survive with. We can work together to make it through this, and make the change we want to see in the world.

A 4 panel drawn comic. The first panel is an outline of a person holding paper and saying "I found this book today". The next panel has the trans flag colors in a triangle pattern and the text "It's called the "trans agenda"". The next page has the person opening the book with the text "There's only one page, weird". The final panel says "Building mutual-aid networks to survive fascism and ecological collapse

Grayson V Fitness endorses Buck Angel

TW primary commenter is gaslighting non binary people by attempting to pretend Buck's previous good deeds somehow make his current extremism irrelevant.

Source: Grayson V Fitness - The History of Trans Men is Beautiful...

See his latest video on trans men history. Nbs have commented on the wider video supporting Grayson, and as you can see people have attempted to inform Grayson on Buck's behaviour of the last few years. Over a week, no removal, no edit, no addressing the situation. Nothing.

This video has less than 10k views and even less will of seen this so I thought I'd simply show it. Grayson benefitted from our community by initially coming out as non binary until he passed for a man. Now he has left us in the weeds regarding the largest transphobic trans man who has done very extreme things recently including sharing an AI nude image of Samantha Lux.

I am tired and disappointed of binary passing trans people throwing us under the bus, whether it is outright enby exclusion or endorsement of people who do that.

Either check my profile for the receipts if he tries to hide it after this, or do a page search for "Buck Angel" and the comment thread where he endorses him will appear.
