Results are in! And it turns out, majority of proshippers are not actually white.
On my previous post, I made a little survey about proshippers' ethnicity. Over 140 people participated and although White did account for the largest proportion, nearly 70% of proshippers turned out to be non-white.
However I also admit some limitations here. On Quizmaker, you can easily vote again and again so anyone can manipulate the result. (Although I doubt anyone actually did that) And this survey was done only in this sub so we can't say much about proshippers on other subs or other platforms.
But still, it seems reasonable to assume that majority of proshippers, at least on this sub, are not white.

Look I get that wlw ships are much less than mlm ships on ao3, but is it really that serious? I mean... shipping is about enjoying, right? If you're unhappy that wlw ships are rare, it's fine, totally understandable, but let's not act like it's fujoshis' fault or something... I hate it how so many bi ppl think of their attraction to men as something shameful
I've seen TOO MANY bi ppl w internalized biphobia saying shit like "I hate that I'm attracted to men" or "I'm bi but I'll NEVER EVER find men attractive as the same level as women" these days. Especially bi women.
Ofc u can have preferences, but seeing SO MANY bi ppl like this kinda icks me coz... I mean you're bi, you're attracted to men. Why should you be ashamed of your bisexuality?? You don't have to prefer women to be bi yk...
Anyways as a bi person who prefers men over women, I just wanted to say this bc I'm sure there are more bi ppl who are like me. Cheers 4 every bisexuals <3

Look I'm not saying that the synopsis of that webtoon doesn't sound racist at all. and I get that you need to be really cautious when you're writing things like slavery or genocide, but I don't think you should harrass the author WHEN IT HASN'T EVEN CAME OUT. Geez...
Ofc the synopsis sounds like its depicting the enslaved person as someone "exotic" while the white one is "the savior" or something, and it gives me the ick, but you don't really know how exactly it's gonna be written, right? 🤦 The puritans and anti-fujoshis are saying "All BL fans are racists" or "Koreans love r4pe" in qrts and I can't stand it.
If you're gonna criticize this series, it should be because of racism or ethnic stereotypes, not because they are "proship" or "all BLs are rapey." ppl really fogetting the point of criticizing😭😭
