Hypothetical RWBY Isekai Team: King Arthur, Lu Bu, Beowulf, And Gilgamesh (Images Courtesy Of RWBY Wiki, TrueTrophies, AoE Mobile Guides, Medium, And Smite Wiki)

I have a hypothetical Isekai scenario that I'd like to hear the FNDM's thoughts on.

In this scenario, four characters from Earth's mythology and/or legends, after they died in their respective stories, find themselves resurrected and transported to Remnant to help Team RWBY and their allies win the war against Salem and her forces once and for all.

The characters in question in this Isekai scenario are Arthur Pendragon (Arthurian Legend), Lu Bu (Romance Of The Three Kingdoms), Beowulf (English Literature), and Gilgamesh (Mesopotamian Mythology). And FYI, I'm referring to the characters from their original mythologies and/or legends, not the versions from the Fate anime franchise.

Also, FYI, the reason I chose these four specific characters is because I plan to include characters based on these four legends in my RWBY rewrite that is in its planning stages. They won't appear until Volume 9 of my rewrite, but I intend for them to serve as guides and mentors to Team RWBY as they journey through my version of the Ever After.

How do you think a team like theirs would work? What do you feel their Semblances would be? What kind of mentorship and/or advice do you think they could give to Team RWBY and their friends/family/allies/etc.?

As always, please be respectful when posting your replies.

Occam razor people, Occam razor. Normally the easiest answer is the correct one. I do believe that Adam was crying because his comrades couldn't kill more people

Some say he was actually just lying to Blake here. Because of "toxic masculinity" and all that, he was pretending he didn't care about the deaths of his White Fang brothers and sisters.

But as I pointed out, the simpler explanation is probably the correct one.

Adam has been portrayed as irredeemable, almost pure evil. So it really wouldn't surprise me if the comic writer simply didn't want you to empathize with Adam in this scene.

Alright, then, how was Ironwood supposed to act with Mantle during volume 7-8?

Talking to u/Conquerorofspace, he mentioned this to me. Okay, Ironwood needs to have Mantle on his side and all that. His plan is to unite the world against Salem after all.

Besides, in the original series, the problem wasn't just Robyn stealing resources, but also the suppliers not selling their supplies.

Ironwood can't just order people to do what he needs. That will only generate negative emotions.

So, how does he solve Mantle's problems?

-By repairing the wall, perhaps? By upgrading Mantle's security network to prevent hackers from infiltrating it?

-By revealing Salem's existence, while keeping Amity Tower's identity a secret?

-By trying to convince people that everything he does is for their safety?

-Perhaps an alliance with the Happy Huntresses? You know, just tell them what Mantle needs to know for now, while hiding dangerous truths (like Amity Tower).

-Use Robyn's semblance to confirm to people that he's not responsible for the murders in Mantle? While remaining silent on other matters, obviously.

-End the embargo but not the border closures? That way, economic problems are alleviated while Salem remains secure.
If you're wondering how one can be eliminated if the other remains, easy: increase surveillance on ships entering and leaving the kingdom. Check that only essential goods are being transported. Like Dust, Atlas needs Dust.
Besides, without the embargo, many people would still have their jobs.

-Militarize the borders to ensure Salem doesn't enter while allowing the free movement of goods?

-What else?

-Improve Mantle's defense strategies?

Anyway, I feel like maybe there are things that could be done. But I'm not sure. How could Ironwood have Mantle's help on his side? How useful would it be?

Remember that Mantle is suffering without knowing why. That's why Mantle's people are angry.

If not genocide, then what do you think Ironwood would have done in volume 8 after the destruction of Monstra?

Many say (and I agree) that Ironwood was out of character in volume 8.
So, if trying to destroy Mantle isn't something James would do, what would he do then?

Personally, I think he would have a breakdown. And after that, he would try to contact Ruby. He would propose, "Okay, you guys use the SDC ships to evacuate civilians to Argus. I'll let you do that if you help me raise Atlas into the atmosphere."

I doubt Ironwood wants the civilians of Mantle to go to Atlas. He already expressed that he thought that was risky in Gravity.

Perhaps he would even propose that "those military personnel who wish to assist in the evacuation" be free to do so. Before that, Ironwood would expropriate all civilian transports (let's say, Bullheads) to help Ruby with the evacuation to Argus.

After that, he would also try to remove Watts' chip from Penny's sword to get rid of the virus. Okay, that probably won't help at all, because the virus is already in Penny's system. But in that case, he'll probably try to talk to Pietro to see if he can do anything.

Besides that, Salem is still in Atlas City (even though she's regenerating). So he'd need everyone's help to knock her out of the city and get her out of there.

I think that's what Ironwood would do. But what do you think? What do you think Ironwood would do?

Isn't it strange that no character mentions the OBVIOUS problem with Ironwood's plan? (RWBY) (I think it made all of them look like fools).

I mean, it's obvious that if Atlas is lifted all the way up into the atmosphere, eventually the resources will run out and everyone will die.

There's also the fact that the idea isn't to lift Atlas into space, but to a point where Dust can function (since if it's lifted into space, Dust would stop working). But if that's true, it's only a matter of time before Salem gets the technology to reach that point.

These are obvious problems that even we (the audience) can see.

But, for some reason, the other characters can't.

Okay, Ironwood and the Ace Ops, it's normal that they can't see it, I suppose. They're too blinded by their paranoia and this whole thing about following orders.

But what about the others? I mean, Winter is intelligent, why didn't she ever realize that? She's not blinded by fanaticism; she eventually deserts Ironwood's side. Even so, she never mentions these problems.

And Marrow is the one who has had doubts about his actions and those of his comrades ever since Ironwood concluded that the best course of action was to raise Atlas.

What's worse is that no one from Ruby and her friends' group has mentioned this despite its obviousness.
When they were arguing with Ironwood in Gravity, they could have mentioned the problems with the plan.
But they only mention the moral aspect: It would let innocent people from Mantle die.
Also in the brief encounter with the Ace Ops in volume 8, or when Yang was talking with Ren.
I mean, there the characters could have pointed out why Ironwood's plan doesn't make sense.

It's just that the series could have explored how the military was so consumed by paranoia that they followed irrational plans. But, the series always criticizes Ironwood's actions and those of the others from a moral standpoint. (From the point that it lets Mantle die).

If the show portrayed Ironwood's plan for what it is—madness—then I feel it would be a more interesting discussion.

Another thing, some will say that it was never established that James planned to stay up there indefinitely. But it's not like it was ever stated that Ironwood planned to come down eventually either. There are vague dialogues about his long-term plan. We could assume that James planned to stay up there, thinking it was best for Remnant.

I don't know, I say what I say based on what the show gives us. At least I'm open to discussion and I acknowledge that what I'm thinking MAY BE wrong. That is, I recognize that what I'm saying is possible, not necessarily the truth.

There are people who claim that Ironwood planned to come down eventually as if it were 100% confirmed canon, and they get angry when you contradict them.

Thank you for your attention.

Why was Ruby's group's plan considered flawed?

At first, I thought it was fine, but I'll do my best to try to find flaws.

Plan is as follows: Ruby's side would infiltrate amity CT to broadcast a worldwide message, while Yang's side stays in the slums and helps with evacuation efforts.

First of all, this warns the entirety of Remnant of Salem's existence... But... They don't really show up until V9, and Atlas still falls. Yang's approach, with a little more refinement, would've worked better, or maybe something more centered on Ironwood, since, with him and probably the ace ops gone, maybe Atlas could've survived.

Besides, what happened afterwards? The team was still wanted, still fugitives, and pretty much like they started. Only when they go and retrieve the relic of creation do they strike James himself, which maybe they should've done from the beginning.

Again, I'd like to know your opinions on the matter (as long as you give them respectfully), since I'm no Spielberg, I'm no expert cinema critic, just trying to see what went wrong. Who knows? Maybe it isn't a plot thing, but a character thing of them acting recklessly: People make irrational decisions when desperate.

So yeah, Ruby Rose was in fact almost in Multiversus until Zaslov closed down Rooster Teeth

Had she got in time, it would have been her 2ed fighting game appearance since Blazblue Cross Tag Battle

Random RWBY Lore Question: Ozma's Illness

Got a random question for the FNDM that just popped into my head a few minutes ago. We know that Ozma originally died of illness in the canon lore, but do we have any canon explanation for what Ozma's illness was?

If not, what illness do you think was the one that killed him originally? I don't know why, but I, personally, am leaning towards Tuberculosis.

As always, please be respectful when posting your replies.

Okay, but Adam, with or without company?

Well, on Tumblr I already made a post talking about why I think Adam should have fought alongside the White Fang on Argus for a final battle against our heroes.
I plan to post it on the main sub to generate traction and all that. The first time I tried, it was deleted for "ranting." Anyway, I'm looking for a way to post it without it getting deleted.

The thing is, I'm proposing this idea. I know that the version many people like is the Adam from Fixing RWBY. But while I also like that version, I think a really good opportunity was missed.

Look, Adam is a character we've known for a long time. And the White Fang is also a group we've known for a long time. Why not have them replace Cordovin as the antagonists of the last volume?

Think about it. The plan to steal the Manta was problematic enough. Whether you support it or not, it generated controversy. So instead of a controversial plan that makes people question the morality of our heroes, why not a battle against an old enemy?

Besides, Cordovin is a character newly introduced in this volume. Do you really prefer her to Adam?

Imagine whatever excuse you want. Let's say Adam took his best soldiers with him to the battle in Haven, which is why they managed to escape, and he didn't abandon them; instead, they all went to the organization's lair. Okay, Adam maintains the organization's loyalty.

Then, Adam, wanting revenge on Blake and her friends, attacks Argus. He can also plunder the city and destroy the Atlesian forces present.

Perfect.

Adam releases Grimm into the city, which generates negativity, and the Leviathan appears. Caroline is very busy dealing with the Grimm alongside the Atlas army, so it falls to our heroes to fight Adam and his army.

Adam overloaded his Semblance, so he manages to fight Weiss, Yang, and Blake simultaneously despite now being insane.

We see the return of the lieutenant, Perry, and Deery.

And there you have it. Tell me, don't you think it would have been a more interesting final battle?

So tell me, Adam, with or without an army?
