Re:Zero is complete story slop. Subaru stays a whiny, weak simp who relies on the exact same boring "die, cry, try again" loop without ever getting stronger—his only power is that invisible hand that makes him vomit blood if he uses it once. Instead of an epic fantasy world, the story traps you in tiny, claustrophobic locations forever, like spending almost ALL of Season 2 stuck in that same boring Sanctuary village, or locking Season 3 in one city.
The plot makes no sense half the time and just throws random stuff in purely to force the story forward—like the Witch of Envy randomly spawning after a trial with zero explanation, or Liliana wasting a whole episode on a lame backstory that nobody cared about. The animation quality drops off a cliff in Season 2, and useless filler like The Frozen Bond movie is just generic ice-vs-fire trash that adds zero plot value.
Now Season 4 wipes Subaru's memories, forcing us to watch him fumble blindly through basic stuff we already know, while "Rem" stangles him in his bed for no reason. It's an exhausting, draggy mess that gives zero actual payoff and I’am done with people saying that it’s the best Anime/Isekai ever made.

Well I only posted this, because while watching I noticed that it got really boring and was not the anime everyone on social media glazed out. Because I did not understand why it was so hyped I picked out some main points myself, posted it and started discussing with some people. It is hard tho since my English is not that good and on top of that I’m new into this arguing back and forth on Reddit. And when some Top 1% guy comes at me im barely able to stand against that. I still want to add that im not totally against Re:Zero it does have some good aspects and saying it is Story Slop was mainly to attract people.

Edit: I take back the example that with Envy spawning randomly in the sanctuary and my argument with Rem.

I tried giving the show a go but OMG this is the most overrated shit Ive ever seen.

Multiple episodes of CONSTANT crying and theatrical name calling, i swear every single character has cried SEVERAL TIMES how is that possible, everyone??!?
