Escape the shoebox — huge 2BR in the Bronx on the same block as the D/B

Renting out my co-op since I moved down the street. Here's why the spot is awesome: HUGE & renovated, same block as the D/B train (be in midtown in 20 mins!), landmarked building on a historic street, amazing light, and great neighbors (mix of Bronxites, queer folks, and young families).

VIDEO TOUR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRY_n7Ny1XY

Rent: $3700/month

The space

  • 21-ft living/dining room — actual room for a couch, chairs, AND a dining table for 6 (plus a piano if you're fancy)
  • 9-ft ceilings, wide-plank floors, big windows w/ afternoon light
  • Foyer big enough to be a home office
  • Kitchen: shaker cabinets, quartz counters, stainless appliances (fridge, gas range, microwave, dishwasher)
  • 2 bedrooms, both 15+ ft, both fit a king bed, each with 2 closets
  • Renovated bathroom — marble tile, glass tub, real vanity storage
  • Pets welcome 🐾

Your landlord (hi, it's me)

I've lived in the Bronx since 2022 and it's genuinely the easiest "yes" of my life — so much going on here, and you're still fully plugged into the rest of the city. I live down the street, so I'm actually reachable if something comes up, and this is my only rental (not some management company juggling 200 units).

Requirements: credit check + rental application, including co-op board approval. First month/Security on signing.

DM me if you want to see it!

Anyone living at the new 303 First Street apartments?

Has anyone recently moved into 303 1st near Grove St? (303 1st St, Jersey City, NJ 07302) I’m considering a studio there.

How’s life living there? Any pro and cons?

And most importantly, is there new-construction odors?

The building seems very new, so I’m having trouble finding resident reviews. Any review would be really helpful for me!

3bd/2bath Bed-Stuy Brownstone $1367/month each. seeking 2 roommates to re-sign for 10/1 (women 23+ only please)

Hii!! I am looking to re-sign a 12 month lease in this lovely bed-study brownstone for $1367 per month each beginning 10/1, pets not allowed unfortunately.

This is the 3rd floor of a quaint brownstone with tons of natural light and nice views, lots of greenery.

I have been here with 2 others for a year now and would like to find 2 others who are clean and communicative to take over for my current roommates who are moving on elsewhere.

Each bedroom easily fits a queen bed as well as large furniture pieces and features a spacious double door closet

2 full bathrooms shared between us so you’ll never be left waiting lol. Kitchen features all appliances including a dishwasher and a W/D in unit, gas oven/stove as well.

About me: I am 28F just finishing up my very first year living in the city working in marketing, I am very tidy and like to avoid messes, very friendly (imo haha). Open to being friends or just staying cordial roommates.

When it comes to chores we can obviously share the burden between us, aside from that I only ask that you can clean up after cooking and avoid leaving dishes in the sink.

We like to keep shoes off in the apartment and since we are on the top floor we have been using the stairwell outside our door to store shoes so that will help to give you even more space.

We are only a 5 minute walk from A(express) and c(local train at the Utica Ave station, 15 minutes to downtown Brooklyn, 20 to FiDi/Manhattan.

Neighborhood is very safe and this street is sandwiched between 2 schools so lots of families, never have had any issues.

Feel free to leave a comment with any questions or DM me to schedule a tour!! 😊

Requirements from building management:

• A completed rental application form
• Scans of photo ID (front and back)
• 2024 and 2025 tax returns
• Proof of current employment/income
• 2 most recent bank statements

If the applicants do not meet the 40x income requirement, we will need all of the above from a guarantor as well, and a signed and notarized guaranty form completed before the lease could be executed.
