Quality - 10/10

I honestly didn't think I'd become such a fan of EL-VEE's Empr3inte leather, but here we are. 😂 This Sp33dy 20 in the cream/beige colorway is probably responsible for my newfound addiction.

I was a little nervous ordering a lighter-colored Empr3inte bag because bi 0-color Empr3inte is one of those materials that can look amazing or completely off depending on the factory. The auth leather has this really soft, luxurious look where the embos.sing is noticeable but not super deep, so I was hoping to find a great rep. I already had a great Empr3inte bag from HP (see the review for my EL-VEE All 1n B-B Empr3inte) so when I saw this bag in his album and Peter confirmed it’s a really good bag, I decided to bite the bullet and hope HP could pull it off….thank goodness, he absolutely did!!

The first thing I noticed when I took this out of the box was how soft the leather is. I've handled quite a few reps over the years and some leathers can feel a little stiff or plasticky, but this one feels supple right away. Similar impression to my black All 1n B-B, I think HP’s source for Empr3inte is reliable in both appearance and feel/touch.

I've checked out the auth bi -color Empr3inte bags in store multiple times and honestly, this is one of the closest matches I've seen in a rep. The leather grain isn't overly coarse, the embossing isn't too sharp, and it has that beautiful pillowy feel that makes Empr3inte so addictive. Maybe that's why I've suddenly become obsessed with Empr3inte leather lately. 😅

The bag itself is beautifully made. Stitching is clean throughout, the glazing looks neat, and I couldn't find any crooked seams or loose threads anywhere. All the leather pieces match the main bag, which is something I always look for because lower-tier reps sometimes use completely different leather on the handles, tabs, or straps. Everything on this bag feels consistent and high quality.

Hardware – 10/10

The hardware on this bag is excellent. Every clasp, zipper, and d-ring feels solid and sturdy. Nothing feels flimsy or lightweight.

One of my favorite details is the strap. The leather strap combined with the gold chain accents on either end just makes the whole bag feel so much more elegant. I know many other bags have it but this simple detail elevates the entire look. You can wear the bag casually, but those little chain sections give it enough sophistication to dress up for dinner or evening events too.

The gold tones of the hardware are not overly yellow, brassy, or orange-looking like some reps can be. The color is a nice soft gold that looks very close to the auth pieces I've seen in store.

The zipper is smooth, the engraved details look clean, and overall the hardware quality exceeds my expectations.

Accuracy – 9/10

My Sp33dy measures approximately 8.1 inches long, 5.3 inches tall, and 4.7 inches wide, with a shoulder strap drop of around 19 to 21 inches because it’s adjustable. Shape-wise, it's a fantastic match to the auth. The proportions look right, the handles are nicely rolled, and the bag has that classic Sp33dy silhouette without looking too boxy or overstuffed. I know HP is known for his Sp33dy nan0 but I just can’t carry a bag that is too small for my phone!

The cream and beige color combination is gorgeous in person. It's a lovely neutral that is surprisingly easy to pair with outfits. The embos.sing placement looks correct throughout the bag and the leather has similar grain size and texture to the auth. Deducting 1 point because I know the auth leather is slightly softer and puffier but for this price, I aint complaining!

Satisfaction - 10!

This is only my second HP purchase but it’s quickly becoming one of my go-to bags so far. The bag is really functional, fun and feels incredibly well made, I guess there’s a reason the Sp33dy line has resurrected itself recently. If you've been curious about HP's Empr3inte source, this Sp33dy 20 completely sold me on it, hopefully you will go try it too!

Now excuse me while I convince myself I definitely don't need another EL-VEE Empr3inte bag. 🤦‍♀️😂

Second time around purchasing from HP and I think the standard understanding is that if you want his EL-VEE, you gotta wait for it! This time the communication was spotty because of the numerous holidays so delivery time felt laggy. Ordering and paying was pretty straightforward, I opted out of PSPs, Peter reassured me they do a thorough qc process.

Again,  I have a sense that Hyperpeter’s a busy guy so he might not have seen my messages immediately but when he did respond, he was always very friendly, kind and apologetic. If you’re looking for someone who responds at a snap of a finger this may not be the best fit for you so do keep that in mind! Two homeruns so far with his products so imho I would get more EL-VEE bags from Hyperpeter just because quality and prices are

After a recent post, I realized that there isn't a very good single source of truth for factory refund and exchange policies. While it is true that many factories don't really accept refunds, it is important to detail that there is a lot of nuance to these policies that can help you work with your seller when in the QC stage.

Below you can find official Refund/Exchange Policies directly from the factories we all know and love. Only official policies will be listed in this post. I will continue to add to this list overtime so check back every so often!

Note: There are many factories that do not have an explicit policy listed, and there are some factories whose policies I may not be able to access. In these cases, its safer to assume that no reason refunds/exchanges will not be accepted, and only major defects will be considered for replacement. Sale items are always final sale. Always talk with your TS to confirm, because what they are willing to do when it comes to exchanges also matters!

GOD FACTORY

1. No Refunds: All sales are final. Standard cash/payment refunds are strictly prohibited.
2. Quality Issues (48-Hour Deadline): If there are structural flaws, hardware defects, or leather damage, the seller must be notified within 48 hours of courier delivery.
3. Exchanges (7-Day Window): Style/color swaps are allowed within 7 days, but they will dock a 100–200 RMB wear-and-tear fee, and the buyer generally covers return shipping.
4. Custom Exclusion: Any bespoke/customized pieces are ineligible for both return and exchange under any circumstance.

Bit of rep science - 187 v Rome

After months of waiting I finally have both of my minis! Burgundy / brown caviar from 187 and silver metallic calfskin from Rome.

Now I have them side by side I can say that I think Rome makes a better version of this bag. The overall shape, hardware weight, stitching, construction, and symmetry go to Rome.

Leather for both are excellent, I've held both auths in store and I cannot fault either factory. I actually will go as far as say that Rome has managed to find the exact same leather as auth for this style.

The burgundy caviar from 187 is faultless as well, soft, lush, with that gorgeous subtle sheen you see in the auth. The leather smell is spot on from the auth caviar WOC that I have.

The errors on both bags:

\- Rome's screws in the handle parts protrude slightly instead of sitting flush like in 187's (last 2 photos). The auth sits flush too.

\- 187's stitching under the pocket flaps aren't as even as Rome's.

\- 187's 31 rue cambon hardware is sharp at the edges. Rome's edges are smoothed out slightly.

\- Rome's interlocking Cs on the pocket are slightly thicker than 187. Having seen the Auth, 187's is more accurate.

The errors are tiny details and I don't think any of my friends would clock them, especially with these two buried in my collection of auth bags. For those wondering - I do intend to pass these off as auths if somebody asks, but highly doubt anybody would ask because these are great reps, and I have a job that can support it.

Very satisfied with both buys! Next up is to try OF, which I've heard makes the best minis.

187 from Doris, Rome from Bao Bao. Found both sellers using the search bar!

Seller experience:

Doris - fast to respond, fast to ship. Had a bit of a snafu when Doris didn't send tracking details to me. First shipment ended up getting seized but she was extremely quick getting a replacement and the bag arrived in the UK less than a week later.

Bao Bao - fast to respond, fast to ship. Immediately sent tracking details and a tracking link. Shipment took about 10 days to the UK.

I like both sellers, but BaoBao provided a bit more advice in terms of getting me to trust that Rome was also high tier.

Very happy and will definitely be a repeat rep customer from here on out! I can't say that reps will definitely replace auths for me, but for these funky colours that I won't wear all the time, reps are the way to go 💖

Hi everyone,

My 26b CC 20cm mini souplissimo flap arrived yesterday and I couldn't contain my excitement at how amazing it looks in person. Everything exceeded my expectations for the price point (I paid $265USD excluding shipping, XC factory through TS Mandy).

First of all, I haven't seen the auth in person as this bag is quite new and hard to find from what I gathered online. I obtained some images from VC of the auth and did a comparison between XC version and auth. And to my surprise, it's pretty close - you can see very subtle differences like placement of grommets, back pocket and CC logo sits a bit higher on the auth, but other than that, you can't even tell unless you have them next to each other (I've attached side by side photos).

The leather feels amazing and absolutely no fufu or unpleasant smell (coming from someone with extremely sensitive nose). It's slouchy but still hold structure. The tone of the hardware is not brassy or overly yellow, it's the perfect light gold.

The interior lining is great as well, no major callouts or complaints in terms of leather quality. The only "flaw" I would point out is the inner lining of the back pocket is quite stiff and hard on touch compared to the interior. Moreover, the turnlock can be a bit stiff within the first couple of uses but it's a lot better now.

The strap is comfortable to wear, although I did hang it up over my closet door to straighten and remove the dent from how it was originally packaged.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this bag from XC/Xiao C factory. My second rep purchase is a success! Happy to hear everyone's thoughts ☺️🤍

Quality
The leather is incredibly soft and has a rich, real leather smell straight out of the dust bag, with no chemical odor at all. I haven't seen the auth in person, but the bag I received matched the PSPs and factory photos as well as my amateur research on the RealReal, Fashionphile and other auth photos.

Packaging/Shipping
It came in a branded dust bag with detailed stuffing and protective packing, but no branded box. That didn't bother me since I care about the bag, not the box. Honestly, I was just worried about receiving the bag itself through customs, but Jenny did a great job with the shipping process.

Would I buy again?
100%. Plan for a long production time for highly popular items like the maxi flap bags, but the communication and the quality made the wait worth it. I will be ordering from Jenny again!!

I got this Ch@nel Kelly bag from XC factory, and I am usually so happy with this factory but this looks like coated wax instead of aged calfskin. Do you guys have recommendations on where to get the best version other than 187? I was thinking God factory.
