I got this Ch@nel Kelly bag from XC factory, and I am usually so happy with this factory but this looks like coated wax instead of aged calfskin. Do you guys have recommendations on where to get the best version other than 187? I was thinking God factory.
My first 187 bag came in…technically my second but the first one was bad..this one came from my TS. The bag is definitely beautiful, love the leather, weight, shape, etc. i’m gonna be honest with y’all…idk if 187 is truly worth the hype and worth the splurge. The strap gets a bit tangled, I don’t have this issue with my other bags from other factories like OF or XC. The dust bag feels a little cheap, the writing on the dust bag is bleeding through. The interior embossing is done well but if I compare to my other bags, which I have over 20 at this point, it’s not as crisp.
Again, it’s a stunning bag, I’ll wear it with pride but I’m just not completely sold on the 187 hype. I’m wondering what your thoughts are!
