How to fix the frame drops in this game?

So this started with the Rebuild expansion release. I can play for 10-15 minutes, and then suddenly my frames drop to like 5, and I have to restart the game. I keep hoping future updates will fix it, but they don't. I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times, no dice. I even though maybe upgrading from Win10 to 11 would fix it, which I finally got around to doing, but nope.

It's definitely not a PC problem. I have a very powerful computer.

  • 9800x3d
  • 4080 Super
  • 32GB 6000mhz RAM

FPS is in the hundreds, then sometimes they just drop to like 5. I feel like it happens most often when opening the map, but it also happens when just driving or something.

This is a fun game, but man...it's just unplayable. I've tried contacting support but they were of no help.

How to complete this infrastructure path?

The big trucks keep getting stuck in this pass no matter where I have them go as they get high centered on rocks or run into things, I hoped the bridge would help.

New, need help with routing transit point to Anbala in “Aftermath”.

Not sure if this game just wants me to fail but no matter what I do my route fails. First the trucks were yeeting themselves off the bridge into the water. Then into a completely different path off spawn than my route? Then flipping on a palm tree leaf. Now theyve been digging in and spinning/rutting a random part of the road before the bridge that was once very passable, I feel my only work around is hauling the dozer and dump truck back from the town to lay sand and try again? I’ve tried this route about 12 times now 😭
It also runs opposite on the same road as another route they had you plan prior so there’s opposing traffic which I didn’t know id be sharing the road, so if there’s a way to go back and adjust that route outward from the center of the road more that would work too?
I really want to like this game but ive been on this tutorial route since last night 😂

How did you convoy to Castle?

This is my series of bridges to Castle for that blasted convoy. And that is what I used to haul all the slabs for that massive concrete bridge to castles Back door.

Best part? No roads built. No sand dumped.

Roadcraft? No. 😏 Challenge accepted.

Bridgecraft .. Yes 🫵🫶😎

Bridge Waypoint Bug

I think I found a bug. If you have an AI waypoint on a player-built bridge, and the route fails, the AI will respawn at the last waypoint before the bridge BUT beeline towards the failed waypoint when you retry.

I found that making sure no waypoints are on the player bridge seemed to fix this. I tested this on a wide concrete bridge and a wide wooden bridge on Sunken.

Can anyone confirm?

Hope this kind of cursed engineering is allowed here 😹

Got bored waiting for mods, the Crawler Pack or whatever … so I started messing with glitches instead 🧐

Bridge blueprints can actually be abused for some pretty clean road work with sand and asphalt… add a bit of bulldozer skill and suddenly you’re making clean roads the game never intended 😎

Maybe some of you noticed this already, but basically: ( you can’t lay sand inside a bridge blueprint area AND if you asphalt over sand inside a bridge blueprint, the sand disappears/shrinks)

Mix those two behaviors together in the right places and you get: straight line paving, square shapes, getting super thin sand layers.... you name it…

Took a lot of trial and error. Janky as hell sometimes, but the results are surprisingly nice. You can get some really clean roads and facility maintenance work out of it.

Anyone else doing this already? Thoughts?

ROADCRAFT - branches

With careful observation of the game mechanics, gameplay style, graphics resemblance, and trailers, I can confidently say that RoadCraft feels like the original core project that was later split into Docked and RoadKings.

The similarities are hard to ignore — from the physics systems and environment design to the overall construction and transport vibe. Anyone else noticed this connection?

DS135A Bunker Tweak

I made a post about making a DS135A tweak last weekend so here it is. The suspension has been lifted as much as game engine allows. It only works with the restored version as you can see on the photo.

Please point out any bugs so I can try and fix them and sorry for delay.

Contamination Toys

So I’ve found a couple of these toy trucks around the Contamination map. This is the biggest one I’ve found for $10k the small one was 5k. Anyone know where others are? Or if other maps have them? I assume they’re kinda like the warhammer barrels on other maps.

Did Anyone else have an issue on Contamination where the ai cars get past the bridge but when they respawn they start on the bridge

Red circle indicates where they spawn but you can clearly see the green path indication they have passed the point. And it is the last vehicle passing each point.

Dozer should have a lifting hook

The dozer should have a small lifting hook, just to clear the little rocks off the road.

Have it tip over for anything really big and make it a fixed length for game balance, but the little rocks thing is qol.
