What are your opinions on the directors and their art style of Rumiko's Anime?
How do you feel/what is your opinion on the directors of each Rumiko Anime, and how do you feel about the art styles incorporated?
Using the pictures for comparison, each director has added or changed details to Rumiko's work. Some have stuck with the material; others have changed details in the material.
I made a similar post regarding studios and their involvement with the anime. So now, how about the directors?
Examples include Mamoru Oshii of the 1981 Urusei Yatsura and Yasuhiro Kimura of the reboot Urusei Yatsura.
Another example is Atsuko Nakajima for the 1989 Ranma Anime, and Konosuke Uda for the Ranma Reboot. (which also has four or more different chief animation directors)
Have fun, keep it civil, and go nuts! (but not too nuts)
