So yesterday at Taco 65
Are there any other taquerias I should be checking out. Their menu is not huge but the food is fantastic.

Any one have a source? What about the large Asian supermarkets with fresh fish departments?
What are your favorite outdoor patios (shaded, fans a plus) for happy hour, with good food? Drinks are less important. Thanks!
Their bean dip is my favorite thing ever! Please, someone tell me how to recreate it at home.
Hey friends! I just launched a foodie app to my own neighborhood first (SACRAMENTO)
It's called Closish. It's a map of the food and coffee spots around Sacramento that people are actually posting about on TikTok and Instagram, ranked by how much they're trending. Tap a pin and you can watch the videos people made there, plus see the ratings and hours, all in one place. It's free and it's currently only in Sacramento.
It's helped me personally discover spots in my own backyard. I discovered Tree House Cafe the other day, and I found some great shrimp tacos at Cocina Doña Chuyita (link in the comments).
One heads-up: it's iPhone-only for now (Android is on my list, if you're on Android, it's coming soon!)
Thank you u/Random_Cat_007 for posting asking about these!
Bought somewhat fresh at KP bakery.
Garlicky and delicious but I was also surprised to learn Korean cream cheese definitely has a sweetness to it which took some getting used to.
Hi! I'm from San Diego but am planning a wedding in Sacramento. Would love recommendations for a vegan restaurant/caterers or private chef! And hear anyone's experience if you have hosted a plant based wedding or event in the area. Thank you!
also-- if you wouldn't host a vegan event yourself, that's fine, but I don't need to chat about it in the replies, lol!
