Wednesday update from Jake and Paris
For those that are not signed up for emails -
To our Sangin community,
First, we owe you guys an apology. It’s been a while since we have sent a note out to the entire community.
The truth is, we’ve had our heads down working on timepieces. Production, assembly, QC, waitlists, custom projects, new team members. It’s been full speed for a while now. That’s a good problem to have, but I also don’t want the work itself to become the reason we stop communicating with the people who made all of this possible.
So before anything else, thank you.
Sangin has grown because you guys wear these watches, take them around the world, beat them up, tell your friends about them, and come back for the next one. We don’t take that lightly, and we appreciate the patience you’ve shown us as we’ve worked through some pretty significant growth.
With that, I wanted to give you a look at where we’re headed for the remainder of the year and explain a little more about how releases and product availability have been working.
Production timelines can always move, but we’d rather give you our best look ahead and communicate when something changes. We’ll continue posting updates to our Updates Page as each release gets closer and dates are confirmed.
Tentative 2026 Release Schedule
August — Merlin
September — Neptune
October — Atlas
November — Kinetic II Titanium
December — Professional, Kinetic II & Hydra
So, where have the drops been?
You’ve probably noticed we haven’t been doing many traditional drops this year.
That isn’t because we’ve stopped focusing on our general release models. Quite the opposite. We’ve been working through the waitlists, with a large portion of our inventory going to people who have already been waiting months, and in some cases years.
We felt that was the fairest way to do it. If someone has been waiting that long for a watch, we don’t think they should also have to race through checkout and hope they beat a sellout by a few seconds.
How do the waitlists work?
Private Access is sent in chronological order based on when you joined the waitlist.
The goal is simple: take care of the people who have been waiting first and keep moving through the list as more timepieces become available.
The waitlists also help us understand demand and determine production numbers for future cycles. For the last few years, our biggest constraint has simply been capacity. The Sangin community grew faster than our ability to build watches without compromising the quality, service, and warranty support you guys deserve, and we weren’t willing to sacrifice any of those just to put more watches out the door.
We’re finally in a position to start expanding that production capacity the right way.
Looking Ahead
If you’re already on one of these waitlists, these upcoming releases are our next opportunities to keep working through them. If you’re not on the list yet, get on it.
We’ve added two more watch technicians to the team and are beginning to move our core models from annual production cycles toward quarterly runs. That means more watches, more Private Access opportunities, and more chances throughout the year to get the piece you’ve been waiting for.
The sooner you’re on the list, the sooner your place comes up.
Our goal is to keep expanding production the right way, take care of the people who have already been waiting, and make Sangin more available without changing what makes Sangin what it is.
Again, thank you for the patience, the support, and for continuing to give us the opportunity to build these watches for you.
We’ve been busy, but it’s because you guys have kept us busy, and we’re incredibly grateful for that.
With You,
Jake & Paris
