Kinetic II Ti on the Uncles Titanium presidential bracelet.

I’ve had my Sangin Kinetic II Ti for about six months now and have worn it pretty hard through deployment, flying, traveling, training, and everyday use.

My biggest takeaway: this thing is a solid piece of gear and is versatile.

The titanium case and dual use bezel are probably my favorite parts. It’s ridiculously light, disappears on the wrist, and the muted finish fits the whole tool-watch vibe. The 12 hour GMT and Dive bezel combo is genius. Mine has picked up some wear, but honestly, this is one of those watches that looks better with scratches.

Legibility is excellent, it wears comfortably all day, and it’s an absolute strap monster. NATO, single-pass, rubber, canvas — pretty much everything works and one of the reasons this watch is so versatile. Though part of me wishes it had different hands so it could set itself apart from the Atlas.

My biggest complaint is Sangin not releasing this watch on an OEM titanium bracelet. It feels like the obvious missing piece. While I have developed a solution, a factory titanium bracelet would make this a contender against the Tudor Pelagos 42, Sinn U1/U50, Marathon GSAR, and a few others.

But six months later, I still reach for it.
It’s not the fanciest or most technically impressive watch I own, but it might be one of the easiest to trust. Put it on, beat the shit out of it, and do cool shit.

The new-ish SBWC strap on the Sangin Neptune. Some will say heresy, and I don’t understand their issue with Sangin, though the watch looks good nonetheless.

Finally got my hands on the Atlas I picked up back in June. Now just waiting for my SOF Neptune (🤞🏻) to be released and my collection will be…more full?

Not complete, cause let’s face it. Us watch enthusiasts will just buy more watches. Why? Because reasons 💁🏼‍♂️.

Retirement cannot come soon enough.
