Although they are not under a hurricane watch, the FDC canceled all weekend visitation (Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11) for all Region I and Region II facilities—which includes both Lowell and Gainesville—to ensure the safety of staff, inmates, and families during the severe weather.

Sarah is who she is, and the crime is as bizarre as any in recent memory. However I found myself wondering about the external factors that made her more interesting and gave us all more information than the average killerer. I came up with a couple:
Did I miss anything? Sarah would still be Sarah, but I posit that these factors added to and expanded what we know about her and her case.
And let's never forget, RIP Jorge Torres - the true center of her horrendous crime.
As we all know boone has been in a program in prison that is geared towards prisoners that are one day going to be released. Boone is there for life so many of us have wondered how she got in to the program when she does not meet the criteria..
My thought is perhaps she is a rat for the prison? Boone got caught with a load of cheese in jail which due to how much she had was deemed to be contraband. Many assume she was a rat in Jail that is why she got "gifted" so much cheese (it was not given to her a by other inmates in admiration and thanks for her advise as she has claimed). After she murdered Jorge, during the interrogation she informed the detectives about a neighbor of her that is in america and is illegal. During her time in jail she would often complain to a CO about other inmates but when the CO would tell her that they will speak to the other inmate Boone would often drop the complaint. Was her complaint a lie or was she ratting on inmates hoping to get special privileges from the CO? In prison she allegedly works in the laundry room. but when we see her phone logs she is spending hours attempting to make phone calls and occasionally she gets through to the person and will spend upto 30 minutes on the phone for each call. With the amount of time she spends on the phone - when does she work?
Sarah went wild writing pages and pages of notes during the trial. Plus several dozen post-it notes she placed on top of Owen's binders (this happened primarily while Mr. Jay read her text messages out loud - she appeared the most fractious). What's your most outrageous guess what she wrote??
There are currently no hurricanes due to hit Florida, which is unusual for this time of year. But....... Something tells me Boone is preparing to cause some storms of her own in the coming weeks.
July 1 2026 state submit .their answer brief to boones appeal. It was not filed on the docket until July 2 but per cert of service defense was served July 1 2026 so if defense want to respond they have 30 days. Defense didn't respond so July 31, 2026 the appeal is now in the judges hands. This may take up to a year.
July 30, 2026 letter from Boone to DCA but it's sealed due to Boone including a PRIVELEGED letter to her from Maldonado.
Aug 3, 2026 - Boone will not be silenced and decides to send a copy of the letter she sent to the DCA to the trial court. Judge Kraynicks staff uploaded it on the docket and left it there.
The DCA nor the Trial court will respond to Boones 7/30/26 letter.
September 14 2026 - the family court judge denied boones motion for a rehearing/reconsideration. There was no court reporter at the Aug 2025 trial therefore no transcripts are available. A lack of transcripts will make it impossible for Boone to appeal the final judgement. Family court cases are civil matters and therefore Boone has to pay for transcripts not the tax payers.
October 25th 2026 it will be 2 years since she was CORRECTLY convicted of the MURDER of abused victim Jorge Torres.
We know Boone is planning some crap with Kevin Beck but that's going to have to wait until the DCA deny the direct appeal. The DCA may not respond for up to a year. I honestly do not see Boone being silent for the next year. What hell is Boone planning!!!
I am surprised Boone hasn't kicked off at judge Jackson yet shouldn't Boone remind judge Jackson that she is nothing but a hair braider and Boone is pure gold?!?
