Do you want to play music at my wedding?

Or know somebody who would?

I had a band lined up from Olympia for my wedding next month and they just had to back out due to scheduling conflicts. My wedding is ONE MONTH away and now I'm kind of freaking out.

Here are the details:

Date: September 19th

Time: 3pm for roughly 3 hours

Location: South Seattle

What we're looking for:

3-4 piece acoustic band - Guitar, upright bass, drums, violin, mandolin, banjo etc. (NO vocals)

Country, bluegrass, jazz, covers etc.

Vibes are casual, punk, summer, party.

This is a PAID gig! Plus you'll get free drinks and food!

We've already been in touch with Blue Wave Band since they seem to be the only option that comes up when you Google but if you are in a band or know of a band that fits the bill above please let me know!

Do bands ever need help figuring out harmony vocals?

I’ve always wondered this. I’ve been singing most of my life, and I used to work with the local children’s musical theater as a vocal director/assistant director. I don’t necessarily want to sing in the band, but l feel like I could help people with their harmony parts, like I did with the kids. I do have some formal training, but I wouldn’t call myself an excellent vocalist. Not looking to make money, just for a fun experience!

LOOKING FOR MUSICIANS TO CREATE A BAND TOGETHER AND SHOOK THE FRICKING WORLD!!!

Hello my name is Arca . I go by the name Tayyare(old plane in Turkish). I am new in Seattle and making very unique and unexplainable musics. I am very confident about them and strongly believe it will be famous and unique if the cards are well played. But firstly I need comrades that I trust and burn with the passion of music. I need different perspectives and a drummer and bass primarily but I am open to any musician in any age , gender , status Idc. I play guitar, keys, and sing, mostly produce with daws. Those are my demos so far

Drummer ISO band

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to join or form a band in the Seattle area. Genre‑wise I’m open to anything except punk rock. I gravitate toward melodic, groove‑centric music that leaves room for unique percussion ideas.

My background leans prog, metal, and funk. Influences include GnR, White Zombie, Acid Bath, and Tool, which should give you a sense of my feel and dynamics.

I’m a drummer first, but I can also contribute to guitar, bass, and vocal writing. I have rehearsal/recording space and solid gear.

I’m sponsored by Soultone Cymbals, and I’m able to leverage that partnership for social media content, promo, and behind‑the‑scenes material.

My goals: consistent rehearsal, live shows, and strong social media presence.

If you’re building something serious and groove‑driven, hit me up.

Songwriter/producer (lead vocals, guitar, bass) looking for one guitarist to build an alternative rock project inspired by early Bush, Linkin Park and most late 90s/early 2000s music. I already have demos.

Hey, I'm moving to Seattle the end of the month. Would love to collaborate with fellow Seattle musicians. (bass, lead guitar and drums.)

I'm 29, currently pursuing a degree in Music Technology.

Here's some of the music I produced, mixed and mastered.

https://youtu.be/wxrUP2u2NFs?si=ygZlkEgl-LCKdoM2

It's very DIY, but hope you like it.

At the moment because of my daily job, I'm just completely exhausted to keep doing 10 things at the same time (Write, arrange, produce, record, mix, master and etc) but just keep going out of passion. I would love to find people with the same mindset who could also contribute to the project. That way, we can release more consistently and focus on getting gigs to play out there.

Thank you so much!

21F in Seattle area interested in starting a band!

I am a vocalist and amateur producer and songwriter, and could definitely do supporting guitar (I mainly play acoustic but could pick up electric if needed)! I’d love to start a band with people preferably between the ages of 20 to 25 and write some songs together!

Would love to have a guitarist, bassist and drummer if possible :))

Looking for folk jams!

Hi everyone!

I’m new-ish to the Seattle area, and I’m looking for some sort of folk jam session to join or folk artist to sing with (either just for fun or for shows)!

I’m 32/M and have sung my whole life (choirs, open mics, karaoke, voice lessons), and I’m looking for a new way to explore singing with others! I play piano and some guitar, but I’m a little rusty on those so I’d prefer to just sing until I brush up. I love singing harmonies and sharing melodies.

I like a lot of different music but would prefer singing folk/americana/country/singer-songwriter type stuff - think Lucy Clearwater, Hayden Everett, Ryan Beatty, Lizzy McAlpine, Andrew Sa, Ethan Tasch, Noah Cyrus.

If this sounds fun to you and you want to make music or if you have any recommendations for jams/places to explore casual music with people, let me know!
