I’ll say it: some people only like Chrishell so much because she contrasts with the rest of the cast

It’s undeniable that Chrishell has a lot of support in here, and sometimes I think too much blind support. I think the reason is because she’s usually compared to conservatives, and so she seems like an angel for doing fairly basic things.

I honestly think that if she didn’t stand out as the only one in the cast outspokenly against prejudice, you’d like her a lot less, even if she was equally outspoken.

I’m sorry, but at the end of the day, she’s an influencer, not a philanthropist. She’s not tying herself to trees or starting charities for sick kids. Most of her activism is posting on social media.

She makes money selling luxury houses to the ultra rich and using her fame to advertise products. She also uses her fame to promote good causes, but so do many many other influencers and they don’t get the kind of intense support she gets.

Maybe I’m wrong here, but isn’t posting about good causes pretty much the baseline of what an influencer is expected to do? And don’t most of them support charity events and donate to them? Yes we thank them for it, but at the same time we kind of expect it, right?

This was a ridiculous casting

I’ve never seen more pointless reality TV character. If I remember correctly Chrishell said that she didn’t even have a licence during filming and was just antoher pitbull released to maul Chrishell.

She just showed up mid way of the season, had a weird ass energy and way of talking (not talking about the accent, just her way of saying things combined with super awkward body language was so cringy) and poof she was gone.

Emma, here we go again….

He just posted and she liked it, they’re back together again. She’s a grown woman in a childish relationship, surely she’s embarrassed at this point?!

Who’s next?

First it was Heather then Chrishell now Amanza, who is going to be next? And how much are they getting paid for this advertisement, feels like it’s going to be the full selling sunset cast doing promo for this table. Obviously nothing against them just funny how 3 out of the cast has advertised the same thing over the past 1/2 weeks.

Amanza has kids, right ?

Because the way she keeps calling the agents at the brokerage her family is pissing me off. I am at the end of season 7 and she keeps calling them her family over and over again. She even mentioned that she considers them a family because she doesn’t have a family otherwise. BUT SHE DOES HAVE KIDS. They ARE her family.

It is also super annoying how she just HAS to speak in between everyone and tries to be the parent of the group. I really liked her in the earlier seasons but in season 7 I just hope for her to shut up.

Just finished S1 of the OC. My thoughts on the cast.

This show is way less fun than SS. The personalities and clothes on SS were both dramatic but at least the drama was interesting. Basically none of these people are likeable.

Alex Hall: top bully who never grew out of her high school mean girl phase. I know we don’t see everything that goes on but she seems incredibly two-faced. When she told Rose and Jarvis that they were “rubbing their stink on everything at the office” at Gio’s casino night I was shocked that she’d say something like that to someone’s face, and her colleagues no less. I can’t believe she’s a mom. Literally the worst.

Polly: pretty on the outside, ugly on the inside. Loves snow sports a little too much. I need 200% less screaming from her.

Brandi: also two-faced. Seemed like she was cool with Kayla and the Alexes but then switched sides to Hall real quick when she saw that she was the queen bee. Weird that she’d side with the MAGAts as a woman of color but here we are.

Kayla: I liked her at first - she seemed sweet and genuine and I don’t think she deserved the vitriol she got from the other women for coming on to Tyler. (The Alexes were right about the hypocrisy.) Her confession to Hall at the yacht party was weird as hell though, especially after how awful Hall was to her and the Alexes sticking up for her. Girl doesn’t know what’s good for her.

Lauren: just kind of there.

Rose: kind of dumb (“Was Abraham Lincoln the first president?” will live rent free in my head for the rest of my years) but I don’t dislike her. She seems genuine and like she’s using the false confidence to cover up some insecurity. I think she sticks with Jarvis because Jarvis is genuinely confident and doesn’t take shit and Rose is hoping that will rub off on her.

Jarvis: there’s a world where she’s the queen bee in the office. Her takedown of Polly was great. I loved that the girls were making fun of her speech and eloquence because it seemed like they were intimidated. She’s poised and intelligent and calculated and that makes for great television.

Gio: despite the weird super-cocky intro he had, he ended up being one of my favorites. He seems sweet and genuine. Stays out of drama.

Tyler: hypocrite.

Austin: just kind of there.

Sean: just kind of there.

I’m not sure I have it in me for another season of this mean girl bullshit. At least Christine and Bre were charismatic villains. Alex Hall and Polly are just loud and grating with no charm or subtlety.

Please tell me Davina gets back what she is doing to Chrishell

I just finished watching season 3 and Davina is HORRIBLE to Chrishell about her divorce. She keeps saying that there are two sides to the story. And here I was thinking that Davina cannot get bitchier than she was in season 2.

Does Davina and even Christine ever get a taste of their own medicine ??

I love how selling sunset compiles songs for each season!

I've watched all seasons and the song selection's been really awesome.

The houses, the drama, everybody knows that. But the songs, damn.

Credibility of the show

Obviously it’s exaggerated and probably scripted if not a lot. But my question is has any like agents outside of the O group come forward about how fake it is?. Like the agents where the girls check the houses for their clients, always wondered if those agents outside of the O group were actual ones or just paid actors posing as agents.
