Wifi on board

Hi, I’ll soon be flying from Taipei to Prague on an Airbus A350-941. Is there really working Wi-Fi available on board as advertised? I’ve read some discussions online saying that the Wi-Fi doesn’t work very well. Is that still true, or is that just outdated information?

Thank you

Seat selection as a first time traveler

ONT transfer time?

I was excited to find a Starlux business class seat but only have a 2 hour layover in ONT to catch my domestic Alaska flight.

Is that enough time to clear customs and make my connection? If the flight is late, will Alaska rebook me for free? It's all on one itinerary booked with AS miles.

Seat selection at 48 hours before flight

I will be flying from Phoenix to Bangkok on Starlux next week. I do prefer an aisle seat but I am hoping to save the 50 bucks the airline charges. I noticed one can select a seat for free 48 hours before departure. I am curious if waiting until the check in process is a good idea. i know this will vary from day to day but what has been peoples experience with doing it during the check in process? Is there a stampede at the 48 hour mark?

Has anyone been on a Starlux flight from the Philippines recently with an infant?

Hi everyone! Has anyone been on Starlux flight from Philippines with an infant? While booking, it said that the length of names exceeded the maximum. I'm booking together with my infant, I can't see their live chat on the website.

Then, I wanted to clarify that I can bring a 7kg carry on baggage, 23kg checkin baggage and also personal. Sorry it's my first time traveling international. Thank you so much

Blank seats on Airbus 350-900

Does anyone know why row 54 is blank? Wondering if it’s a wall or storage area?

Will STARLUX check my bags through to my final destination?

Hi everyone,

I recently scored a great deal on a STARLUX business-class award ticket from SEA to TPE, with a connecting flight from TPE to SGN. The flights are on two separate reservations because it was significantly cheaper to book them separately using points.

Does anyone know if the check-in agent at SEA will be able to check my bags all the way through to SGN, even though the flights are on separate reservations? Or will I need to clear immigration in TPE, collect my bags, and then recheck them for my TPE–SGN flight?

Thanks in advance for any insight, especially if anyone has had a similar experience with STARLUX!

Inflight Snack options

I’m flying Starlux for the first time in October from TPE to ONT.

Does Starlux offer the burger as a snack on all of its long haul flights? I’m really hoping to get one 😅

OKA to TPE Short Haul In Business?

Anyone flown this route? It’s just over an hour in the air and it’s on the A330-900. What kind of service did you receive? I assume no food and just drinks?

Starlux Baggage allowance

Hello!! Has anyone here tried a Starlux flight from MNL to LAX? How many bags can you check in?? I can't find any info on Cheapoair (where I booked) or on their website about how much luggage is allowed. But when I checked on Agoda, it says 2x - 23kg. Is it possible that's the same?? Thanks!!

Update:
I called CS they told me I have 2x -23kg

booking starlux biz via alaska. noticed a "complimentary upgrade, subject to availability, first class, premium class" toggle right before checkout "book now" step. is this new? does it actually mean anything?

booking starlux biz via alaska. during check out at the last step "book now," i noticed a new section/toggle that says "complimentary upgrade, subject to availability: first class, premium class." is this new? does it actually mean anything?

on another note, what happened to all the TPE SFO starlux alaska redemptions? it's all gone. another thread a few days ago mentioned it may be an IT issue, but was wondering if any new updates or news came out since then. thanks

Check-in via Alaska Airlines

Hi all! I have a flight tomorrow with the first leg being a flight to Seattle operated by Alaska Airlines. However, I am not able to check in for this first leg at all. The Starlux website/app said to check in directly on Alaska's website but when I entered my ticket number or confirmation number into Alaska's portal, it couldn't find my ticket.

Has this happened to anyone else? How do you navigate it? Is there a different confirmation number for the Alaska leg(s) that I missed? Please let me know! Thank you in advance!
