Exit row A350-900?
Flying sfo to TPE. I see exit row available for an upgrade of $140. Since I used points to book, I don’t mind spending the money for more leg room (I’m 6ft tall). Is the exit row worth it? Do the seats recline at all?

I’m traveling to raja Ampat in Nov. leaving the states in Nov 6 and arriving in Jakarta on Nov 8th. My flight arrives at 1130 Am local time. Looking up flights to Sorong, I’m only seeing flights late in the evening (around midnight). There’s earlier flights but have connections and still has me arriving the same time. Looking for suggestions on how to kill almost 12 hours in Jakarta/airport
I have 2 yeti coolers, a smaller hopper 18 and roadie 60. Recently got the hopper for day trips, light camping, and boating. I took it overnight camping and just had some sodas and a container for milk for coffee. I used the large ice sheet on the bottom, a medium and 2 smalls on top of the drinks. All sodas were chilled and the cooler was left in the deep freezer opened the night before to chill it. But the next day the ice packs were fully melted and not providing any cold. I suspect my GF was not fully closing the zipper since it’s a hard pull at the end to fully secure it. Going camping for a 2 day trip and planning on using it again. No food just beverages and some milk for coffee. Do you think it would last (ensuring she closes it all the way after every use) or not really?
I bought a used boat (2008 h180) on consignment from a local dealer. I may have jumped the gun as I was eager to get a boat in time for the summer. The dealer said they had service records since the first owner took the boat to them for maintenance and that the second owner was a gear head who did his own work. I was also told they would provide a pre purchase report. The boat looked good enough upon inspection and the report came back that everything checks out. Volvo Penta 4.3GL-J, compression test came back 180-190 psi on each cylinder. Did a quick sea trial and boat fired up right away, got on plane quick and handled well. It was a bit choppy on the water so couldn’t go WOT. Didn’t receive an actual report past that(not sure if they actually provide a physical report or just an inspection). I specifically requested to ask the seller when the last time the impeller was changed and was told “ummmm maybe 7 years ago?” Asked the dealer to replace it and was quoted near $400. I asked the dealer to negotiate that to be included in the price from the seller and was told “this is already a great deal. I’m not going to hassle the seller any more over a few hundred bucks” so I’ll do it myself.
I was looking at a few boats so I think I messed up which was which but could have sworn I checked the oil and that it looked clean. I also thought the boat had 500 hours and that there was a timer on it but I must have been looking at anyone. Again, I was told the boat was winterized and everything was replaced then.
I’ve now had the boat for a couple of weeks and decided to check the oil(put maybe 3 hours on it). Dip stick handle broke off as I was pulling it out so I have a new one on order but the oil was really dark. I decided to now run thru everything since I can’t confirm whether things were done properly.
1)New oil and new oil filter were just replaced. ✅
2)I have a new fuel filter on order and will replace when
I receive it.
3) Will replace the impeller later this week (luckily the boat has been running fine and no over heating)
4) noticed the steering fluid low and dirty so I’ll be replacing that soon as well however I never noticed any issues with the steering or maybe I’m just used to heavier steering from a car so don’t notice it.
5) Will also plan to change the out drive oil as well in the next couple of weeks or so and then redo whatever needs to be done for winterizing.
6) Bad horn needs to be replaced. (I have a blow horn and whistle but like everything to be operational).
Past this, any other recommended maintenance items for the “I’m not confident everything was done right?” Without a complete overhaul? Any things I have listed that you wouldn’t worry about until winterization?
I just got the stealth hitch in my x3m40. The factory authorized installer at first said they wouldn’t install the wiring because they have ran into issues with splicing(passive wiring kit). Found out my car is pre wired with the active wiring harness and discussed with the shop that this would be better even though it cost more. They said as long as it’s a plug n play they could do it. I specifically stated “even if you don’t want to plug it in, can you at least run the wire during install and I can plug it in my self”. “Yes absolutely, we could also plug it in if that’s the case” the manager said. Went to pick up the car and the wiring wasn’t even ran, and instead of cutting the gravel guard per the instructions, they just decided to toss it. I called the shop and the installer called the manager who said “we said we weren’t installing the wiring, I’ll call you Monday”. But even for the gravel guard, it’s clearly part of the instructions. If you didn’t want to do that part, you should have called and asked me if it’s ok to skip it. I managed to install the wiring kit/computer and scheduled a remote programming but still need the wire ran thru the grommet to the hitch.
I am now looking at it things closer since they pissed me off, I notice a gap in the rear lights. Can someone take a picture of their light and add it to the thread? I want to see if they messed up on this or maybe if there was a rubber grommet that they removed to simplify the reinstall of the lights or maybe they’re already like that? Just seems odd and like a place for water intrusion especially in a gap that big.
I bought a 2008 four winns h180 and 2 speakers are bad. The receiver looks like an old Sony car stereo with a cd player. When anchored, it’s not a problem but when cruising I can’t hear anything, especially that the bad speakers are on the drivers side. I was debating just getting a Sonos move 2 and just using that. Pros, I don’t need the boat battery to play, it’s portable so I can use it outside the boat. Con, I don’t think it would be great for with engine and wind noise. Also, it’s not waterproof.
Replacing the speakers will be more expensive and would probably require a new receiver and an amp. What would you do? Also, for anyone with a similar boat, what size speakers did you go with and did you need to cut anything?
I just bought an ’08 Four Winns H180 in really good condition. I’m new to boating and trying to decide between a wet slip and dry storage for the summer.
I can’t store the boat at home, so I’m looking at marina options. The dry storage is about $50/month more than a covered wet slip.
With dry storage, I’d request the boat through an app and they’d launch it for me. It needs about 2 hours notice (longer on busy summer weekends). Pickup is the same process in reverse. There are also set operating hours, so it’s not fully 24/7 flexibility.
One important detail: if I want an early morning launch, I’d need to request it the night before, and they’ll leave it moored overnight so I can just show up and go. Same thing for returns — if I drop it off outside of hours, I leave it at the dock and they’ll pull and store it the next morning.
With a wet slip, I’d just leave the boat in the water and have full immediate access any time, which is appealing for spontaneous early mornings or quick evening runs.
My partner thinks we should just save the money and go with the wet slip since it’s an older/used boat anyway. I’m leaning toward dry storage for convenience, less time dealing with launching, and not leaving it sitting in the water all season.
Curious what others would do in this situation — is dry storage worth the convenience tradeoff, or is a wet slip the better value?
Looking for a boat. I found someone local selling an 09 moomba outback v with 536 hours. The boat looks in good condition less the back bench needing new upholstery. Seller is asking for 25k. My buddy is saying 536 hours is too high. This is our first boat but assumed that was average hours for a boat that year. What do yall think?
I’m sectioning off a small section of my basement to be a shop. Right now, doing some basic trim work and building a small custom closet storage system.
I have roughly a 12x13 space that I’m dedicating to a workshop. I’m currently building a miter saw station for my Milwaukee m12 miter saw with foldable extensions. This would measure 24x45 when closed and 106 inch when fully open. Table saw, I’m using a SawStop JSS that I’ll be removing off the mobile base and putting on its own stand to reduce the overall size of the unit. I also was looking at a Kreg router table that measures 24x32. I’m not planning on ripping full 4x8 sheets at all and will use my circle saw to rip to a manageable length before bringing into the basement.
I’m looking now at an outfeed table and was looking at getting the kreg table and putting plywood/mdf on top. I was originally going to go with the 44x64 table but now I’m thinking of getting 2 tables that I can more easily tuck away such as the 28x64. The idea, when I need a big enough table, I can combine them, otherwise I can have them against the wall when not in use. The router table will also act as an extension to the table saw on the left side when I need to support something larger. Thoughts on this? Does a double table work or should I consider just getting a bigger table. 2 tables would also double my cost.
6 ft tall, 32 yo. Started at Nov 2025 244 lbs and down to 215. Been doing diet and functional fitness but last month and change been focused on lifting 4 times a week while still in a calorie deficient. My brother thinks I’m closer to 20% but scale has me at 25.5% and navy method has me at 23.8%. My first goal was 220 and second goal is 20% body fat with a final goal of 15% and maybe a stretch goal of 12% just to see if I can get there. Body seems to be more in recomp as my weight has been flat since lifting a month ago. Waist has not been wanting to shrink past 39.5 and hovers between 39.5 and 40.
2 questions, should I continue to focus on recomp or try and cut more weight?
And what’s my estimated body fat?
