Martins Licis BTS Giants Live Strongman Classic
youtu.be480 in training this year vs 480 in training last year technique comparison
As you can see, his hips were lower last year and his hip ascent was smoother. No doubt the strict drug protocol at Enhanced Games plays a part but there's also no doubt technically he's not as proficient right now

Research Advert: Prevalence of Performance Enhancing Drug Use in the Sport of Strongwoman
[post has been approved by a moderator]
Dear Members, my name is Dr Andrew Richardson and I am currently co-supervising a student who's research [link - https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/teesside/pedstrongwomansurvey ] is looking at strongwoman athletes perceptions of performance-enhancing drug (PED) use in their sport.
The student is called Becca Worgan and runs a very popular podcast called "Strongwoman Highs" on Spotify which many of you would be aware of.
We are researching this topic as PED use in strength sports is a topic that gets a lot of discussion, but there's very little research on it, and almost nothing that focuses on strongwoman athletes.
This survey aims to change that by exploring how common PED use is, what drugs are being used, whether athletes are accessing harm reduction information and topics such as stigma. We are recruiting all strongwoman athletes/competitors and does not matter if you have or have not used PEDs. The survey caters for both non-PED users and PED-users.
The goal isn't to judge anyone, it's to gather honest, anonymous data so we can better understand what's actually happening in the sport and start addressing the gaps in research around women's health in strength sports.
I'd really appreciate it if you could share the link with your friends, gym members, peers, athletes and those in your networks who would be interested in taking part in this survey.

I would like to thank the moderator for letting me post this survey here.
Thank you to everyone who has already completed the survey, if you haven't please take part and share it onto your friends and fellow athletes to complete please.
Best wishes
Andrew

Raul Flores 420 kg x 3 he says he felt bad due to poor nutrition but got the work done
WSM Format
New idea World's Strongest Man group stages should be held on traveling locations like they were in the 2010s and earlier
And then have the finals in an arena
One of my favorite years to watch is the year they put them in a colosseum type amphitheater in the 90s
Location elevates the contest so much
But so does having a healthy crowd
With proper advertising and partnership with giants live you could probably sell out a 10-20,000 seat arena in the UK
The hype would be unreal
I feel like heats traveling, finales arena is the best way to balance everything everyone loves about WSM
Epic backdrops, local history, Flags, entrances, big energy, hyped fans you can have both with this idea
Who remembers when Nick Guardione lifted the Austrian Oak? That was hype
Any one using this guy Australian coach strength ?
Curious how the programme would be
