Do you check the return policy before buying anything now, just in case?
Anyone else immediately check the return policy before buying something now? 😭 I’ve been burned enough times that it’s basically part of my shopping routine at this point. Please tell me I’m not the only one.
Has anyone found jeans with actual stretch that don’t completely lose their shape after a few hours?
I love denim that has a little give and actually feels comfortable to sit and move in, but I hate when it fits perfectly in the morning and somehow feels two sizes bigger by the afternoon. I’m looking for something soft and flexible that still snaps back and keeps its shape.
What denim brands have actually held up for you?
The right outfit!

I swear one of the most annoying girl problems is never feeling like you have the “right” outfit, even when your closet is full. You try on five things, hate all of them, and suddenly the one top you ignored becomes the only acceptable option. Then there’s the whole issue of hair deciding to act up right when you need to leave, makeup not matching your mood, and somehow every plan turning into a mini fashion crisis. It’s exhausting, but also weirdly universal. Please tell me I’m not the only one who overthinks getting dressed this much.
What do you wear on a low key Sunday when you still want to feel somewhat put together?
For me, it’s usually loose pants or comfy jeans, a simple top, sneakers, and a few accessories so it doesn’t feel like I just threw something on. I want to be comfortable enough to run errands, grab coffee, or sit around for a few hours, but still feel like I actually got dressed.
What’s your version of that in between Sunday outfit?
Any day I’m not wearing scrubs is a good day
I love being able to dress like myself. Often times wearing black scrubs everyday can be boring and dehumanizing. I’ve been trying to take more photos of good outfits so I can better build my wardrobe.
I love thrifting and things like that when possible.
What hair accessory saves you on really hot or humid days?
I feel like once it gets too hot, having your hair down stops being an option. What do you always reach for when you just need it out of the way but still want to look put together?
Have you ever tried on something from a brand and immediately thought, okay, they actually get it?
Like the fit just made sense in a way you weren’t used to, and you didn’t have to size up, adjust anything, or convince yourself it looked right. What brand gave you that feeling?
What do women actually want from activewear?
Im working on an idea built around a simple philosophy: move to heal, exploring the gaps in the female activewear industry. I personally find that when I’m wearing something I feel comfortable and confident in, it’s easier for me to show up to my fitness commitments. Rather than creating a brand that focuses only on performance and appearance, Im interested in the connections between what we wear, how we feel and our motivation to move. For me, movement is a tool for healing- not just physically, but mentally too. I want to explore whether activewear can play a part in that — helping women feel comfortable, confident and motivated to move in whatever way feels good to them. Most importantly, I want to understand what women feel is currently missing from the activewear industry and what they genuinely want from the clothes they move in.
If you have a few minutes, I’d really appreciate your perspective through my short survey:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeGPjZA6sJb9bC2JhmOE_1HmBwNJkZfjFFDPmzGG8IopSwtKg/viewform?usp=publish-editor
Thank you for your help 🤍
What’s your actual long-flight outfit when comfort fully wins?
Not the cute airport fit. I mean the one you’re wearing when you know you’ll be stuck in a seat for hours. What are your non-negotiables?
What do you girls wear inside cami tops?
Also, I've another question. If you're wearing tops like these at home then what you were inside it?
Does humidity affect more than just your hair too?
I feel like it changes everything. What clothes feel comfortable, how fabrics sit, even how your skin feels. Does it change what you end up wearing?
What’s the one piece of clothing you refuse to get rid of even though it does not fit right now?
Maybe it has sentimental value, reminds you of a certain time, or you are still hoping you will wear it again someday. What is it, and why are you keeping it?
Help Needed: Hot-Weather Formalwear and Sweat
Hi all! Hoping this is a good sub to come to for my predicament.
I’m going to be a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding in Palm Springs this fall. The wedding is outdoors and will take place early evening. I expect the weather will be around 95-100 degrees.
As I am a bridesmaid following a very specific dress code, I had limited dress options available. Long story short…I’ve ended up with a floor-length polyester dress. I selected a backless style with a low neckline to reduce the amount of fabric actually touching my body, but it is tight around the midsection.
I’m going to see if my tailor can add a leg slit to help with air flow and will accessorize with a VERY chic hand fan, but would love some more advice/strategies to help power through this. I’m looking into merino wool underwear - would it be helpful to get a super high-rise cut to create a layer of separation between my body and the dress, or would that just add more heat? Would it help absorb sweat and avoid sweating through the dress?
Fortunately, this is a non religious ceremony and both grooms will be in full suits, so hopefully it flies by quickly! 😅. Help!!!
Do you still shop in store so you can try everything on, or has it started to feel like too much effort?
I feel like more people are shopping fully online now, even with the hassle of returns. What do you honestly prefer?
Do certain clothing textures feel extra comforting on harder days?
For me, sometimes a really soft sweater or familiar fabric just feels better than anything else. Do you have something you always reach for?
What are your go-to brands for wide-calf boots?
I feel like this is one of those categories that’s still weirdly hard to shop for. Any brands that actually have good options and aren’t impossible to find?
does anyone else convince themselves a luxury piece needs a "special occasion" before they'll wear it? 👗😅
Bought this one piece a while back.
Told myself i'd save it for something special.
Kept waiting for the right moment to come along.
Weeks passed.
Then months.
Still hanging there, tags long gone, still barely worn.
Meanwhile i've worn the same 3 "safe" pieces on repeat this whole time.
I swear the nicer something is, the harder it becomes to actually use it.
What's the piece you've been "saving" that you should honestly just wear already?
Do you keep a lightweight scarf in your bag year round?
I feel like it is one of those things that can be useful for so many reasons, whether you are cold, want a little more coverage, or just need an extra layer.
What is something you always keep in your bag?
Has anyone found a wireless bra that actually stays supportive without leaving marks by the end of the day?
I’m looking for something with wider bands that holds its shape but does not dig in. What has worked for you?
