I just rebuilt this engine 15k ago and it was running great until yesterday driving home from school and now I hear this nasty knock. I hope it doesnt end up being too bad but sounds pretty cooked 😔

Hello! I need to remove these mounts so my fender flares can fit right. My plan is to grind the spot welds away with an angle grinder. Is it a stupid idea? If you have any ideas of tips i will appreciate it! i hope it is only spot welded and not like glued or something 😂🤞

The billet ones are a bit pricy but the steel one seem like they’re the same price that calmini sells. It must but a new company because I haven’t heard of it before https://aintgoinganywhere.co

found this on the floor, under my sj413, towards front of the engine. have scrolled through the parts catalogues to no avail. it had a bit of carbon build up on it. anyone know what the blue blazes this is?

This is my manual 2012 Kizashi GTS. I’m hoping it’s just a low voltage issue and I can just replace the battery. When I start the car and accelerate, there is a flash or two of a “service ESP system warning” (electronic stability program). When that warning happens, there is a flicker of all electronics and the power steering freezes leaving the steering wheel heavy/feeling locked up and then it disappears for the rest of the ride.

To my understanding, the kizashi has electronic power steering which seems to be closely linked to the esp system. Does any other Suzuki owner have this problem and know what’s going on?

I rebuilt this engine around 2000km ago, and then the cyl. 1 con rod bearing shit the bed. Now i wanted to just slap a new crankshaft in it and send it, but the pistons look like this.

Its just a 60 hp shitbox, would this matter? The cylinders look perfect.

Rebuilt my motor abt 2 years ago and only had the occasional drip, but coming out of this winter the warmer weather has caused it to start leaking significantly more, specifically from the bottom left side of the oil pump as shown in the picture. What is the process in replacing the oil pump, do I have to drop the whole pan, and do I need a lift for that? Would that even solve the problem? Ik samurais are notorious for leaking on the pan and oil pump surface...

Hey guys! I’m looking to get some help in sourcing this oil leak. I haven’t done and bought the dye yet (just changed the oil) but I noticed that this spot reappears after cleaning everything up. Could this be a loose oil pan leak or more indicative of a rear main seal? This particular vehicle doesn’t have a dizzy, so I don’t think it’s a dizzy o ring leak. Thoughts from the experts?

These are the original seats in my ‘93 Samurai. As you can see they are very tatty and worn, so the seats need replacing, but I want to keep the original design rather than getting different seats that crucially won’t have the same pattern. Does anybody know what the name of this pattern is or where I can get some more material of the same pattern? (UK based)
