Sami hybred conversion?

Hi evrybody i have a question.

So i have a suzuki samurai 1.3 carburator 1985y. 44kw
I was thiniking about tu puting a el.motor because off power & silence. But i still wish for it to have combust engine, i don’t like to depend on charge. I drive it a lot in woods, mud & i like to go camping. Not overlanding but more weekend warior.
So i was surfing & asking AI, but he gave me a idea of mid-drive el.engine. After Transmison before transfer case i have a short drive-shaft. To conect it there by chain.
So i was thinking on such small & light car, 10 kw will mater. It has a lot of uses & potential.(from acceleration to driving up hill, In the wood and Especially on the road) “they are painfully slow on the road”
But here comes my first problem, i can’t find nowhere this kind od conversion, only full EV. I know roughly what to do because of AI. But i still wish to see i somebody manage to do it, and if will be worth it, because engine is expensive, because i need to get the one that you can powerwash after drive. It’s DIY project, im not the best with el. But im very detaling persone, and i like projects

Steering arm grinding on inner of rim (1988 Suzuki samurai jx)

Has anyone had this issue before? When I turn fully to the left it'll grind and occasionally get stuck and immobilize the vehicle What would be recommended to fix this issue

Recs for a bone stock build?

Hi everyone! Happy Monday :)

I posted a few weeks ago about getting my 1987 Samurai and he's pretty much bone stock and in fairly decent condition for sitting outdoors, uncovered for 12 years.

My current plan is to just catch up on his maintenance, rebuild/fix a few worn or broken pieces like the steering knuckles and door handles, replace missing parts, and treat rust.

I don't want to make him a rock crawler or a snorkeler. The dirt roads I'd need him to go on are the same ones he tackled for the last 26 years. I want to keep him as close to stock as possible.

Really the only non-OEM "modification" I've looked at is the Old Man Emu 1.5" suspension kit, mostly because it seems to be generally well spoken of and close-to-OEM.

I'm curious if anyone more experienced with these cars has any recommendations to improve performance, longevity, or safety (as much as a 4x4 from 1987 can be lol).

Really hoping to give this old man a well deserved second wind.

Suzuki Mechanic LA Area?

Hi all, never posted here before. Any reccs for mechanics/specialists who work on Suzukis? I’m in the Los Angeles area and don’t mind towing it a bit of a distance. Looking to start with a comprehensive tuneup for a car that has been sitting outdoors in the sun for a year

How bad is it?

Recently blew my engine (the new shiny hole next to the oil filter), and went to remove all the kit to get it rebuilt and I noticed the (obviously much older) hole in the bell housing section, including an exposed belt. I was already considering an engine/trans swap, but I can keep it (mostly) original for about half the cost of a swap. How bad is the damage, and how salvageable is it, given that I didnt even notice it before now?

Mint 1987 Samurai JX, what to mod first?

Picked up a mint 87 JX from the original owner.

What mods or upgrades should I make to improve overall performance, if any?

Fuel pressure on 3k carb

I bought a 3k carb from amazon, and I also have an electric fuel pump. What fuel pressure should I adjust to, so that it doesn't run eye watering rich? What fuel pressure regulator can I buy? I don't have a return line btw.
