I know this isn't original but it really saddens me just how shit SWISS are nowadays. It's just been a slide downwards.

I fly extensively from Zürich and over the years it's just become a miserable service. Zero flexibility, poor reliability, terrible customer service absolute hell bent on stealing every franc they can.

Take me back a few years to the air attendants that were happy to do their job and not mimic Ryanair. I would also like my free beer back.

Don't kill air travel and make me use a shit aggregator because flying with everyone else is simply the same.

I feel like a fucing idiot. I booked a flight, and was so happy visiting home, and just checked in. Just to recognize im flying to Zürich and not to Hamburg (im located in Zürich). So i guess i got confused while booking and switched the places. I wont get a refund or anything and the new Prices are crazy.

This will be a fuced up lesson…next time, i will send somebody the flight data to check.

I booked a ticket on the Swiss website: Vienna → Zurich (Swiss) → Kilimanjaro (Edelweiss), all on one booking.

Online check-in worked fine for the first flight (VIE-ZRH), but for ZRH-JRO, which is operated by Edelweiss, it doesn't let me check in.

It has been a couple of years since I’ve flown internationally with UA/Star Alliance gold status. Wifey and I are on Swiss to Zurich from the States tomorrow evening. Economy tickets. Will we have access to the Swiss lounge as we await our departure? TIA and safe travels

I was booking ZRH-BER and I saw that google flights suggested separate tickets. Price for return ticket on Swiss we page was 298. Out and in bound as separare tickets on Swiss was 270 (best outbound time for me was an Eurowings flight, but price exactly the same as Swiss) I went to the Eurowings webpage and saw that the price on Swiss webpage was 10 francs more than on Eurowings with checked bag (ob Swiss it was economy light), so I booked there the ultra light option and added a cabin bag for a total of 233. That’s a significant price difference.

I thought that return tickets are always cheaper. Is this a new thing now to check for separate tickets or was this just an outlier in pricing?

My Economy (non Flex) ticket says non-refundable pretty clearly but I still checked my booking and in its "Manage Booking" page, A "Request Refund" button is available. I tried to ask their chatbot as well and it told me I am in the grace period to fully refund. I've searched about this grace period and there was no mention of it in my ticket or booking.

Anyway, so I proceeded to click the "Request Refund" and it confirmed my full refund to be processed.

Is this it or there will still be a layer of review before the refund?

(Route is Dublin to Manila)
