Do you ever take any of the boosts that last 4 rooms ?

Hi all, Im pretty new to the game and enjoying it so far :)

Was just wondering if at the end of a room when you get the "price" you ever choose one of the Boosts that last 4 rooms. Because I never do, just the fact that a last 4 rooms makes me prefer any other power up/health that is permanent.

Infinite health

I was playing as Mikey, water build for multi-hit and bigger range, then got a legendary astral light bonus that gave me HP/hit, paired with increased dodge chance from ninja and I was practically tanking Gauntlet Shredder head-on.

Nearly a broken build if you can get it

Continuing my save file with a friend on PC

I hosted my first game with a friend and quit at the streets level.

How exactly does he pick up where he left off? He has a save file as well but when he loaded into the game he didn't have any of his upgrades or anything.

I feel like he is missing a step in the main menu.

What in the hell is Photon Lance??

In the clip I only hit Shredder with Photon Lance that was triggered when I attacked. The plan was to hit him with photon lance + still waters/high tide + 1 missile from my drone (that attacks once during a final strike) but i missed everything besides photon lance…

But photon lance triggered Fire and Water damage as well! On this build I do have frostfire, shatter and water abilities. My theory is that maybe photon lance acts as a ‘tool’ and gains its properties? Thoughts anyone?

Is it possible to get "confidence" on a Shredder kill?

I was testing an invincible light build but even though I take no damage from shredder, I still dont score confidence? If you check the clip i uploaded, i clearly take hits from the ninja elite with my shield up but still get confidence. did anyone get confidence when defeating shredder? is it even possible?

How many runs did it take you to reach your first succesful run?

I just got Splintered Fate yestersay, and have been having a lot of fun with it. So far, I've had 5 runs, all of them failures. The first run I lost to enemies in the City streets levels. The second, third, and fourth run I all lost to the Beebop and Rocksteady boss (two to the Mouser section in between phases, one to the second phase of the two themselves) and the fifth phase to a miniboss encounter in the Rooftop level.

I'm gradually improving, but since I haven't reached Shredder yet, let alone defeat him, I was curious on what the average amount of runs it took other players to beat Shredder for the first time.

True Final Boss?

Spoilers!

>!So I've played though this game with my mom, and we've finished the full eight runs to rescue Splinter. Still don't know who the shadow man behind everything is. After the first run, he says that we need to get a winning streak to presumably fight him. So we grinded out our win streak assuming we'd fight him after enough runs.!<

>!Thing is, our win streak is 5, and nothing has changed. No new dialog or anything. I assumed we would eventually fight him because the game clearly sets this up. That's typically how these kinds of games work.!<

>!We've both looked it up and have come up empty. But surely that's not all, right? Is there something we're missing? We haven't touched arcade mode much, and we don't have all of permanent upgrades or artifacts.!<

>!Is there really nothing after rescuing Splinter?!<
