Have you seen this cat?

Does any one have one of the promo fliers/posters which they had at the listening parties? I’d love to have one to add to my collection!

Japanese language

Greetings, any friendly companions here who understand Japanese? See, TOMORA keeps perpetuating this idea that their name translates to "friendly companion on earth", I want to fact-check that. At first I thought it was simply "friends".

I am not familiar with Japanese, just out of curiosity I tried to look at some basics, and this is the impression I managed to glean:

TOMO is the root word for "friend", and a common pluralisation is TOMODACHI, except that Japanese doesn't have plurals in the same way as in other languages. RA is allegedly also a common sort-of pluraliser, but it isn't used with TOMO, as the little I understand (or is it?). No idea how "earth" could come into this.

So it would be lovely to know if there is something to that claim, and if so, if there is a way to explain how it works to somebody who doesn't know Japanese.

I’d love a music video for ‘Have you seen me dance alone’

It’s the song I’d choose if I could magically make it happen.

I’m sorry, I don’t see it

I’ve loved Aurora ever since her Nobel peace concert. That was like 11 years ago, and I’ve regularly followed and listened to her ever since. I loved her ethereal voice and alt style music. I just can’t seem to grasp how this is better. A lot of people are glazing this album and that’s completely okay, there are a few songs I like on it too, but this just isn’t it for me. I know this is going to be downvoted because it’s on the Tomora subreddit. It just sounds like somebody using Aurora’s beautiful voice and adding house music to it as if Tom was a soundcloud artist. Can somebody help me understand why people like it? This is the first project ever in over 10 years of following Aurora that I just can’t vibe with.

I’ll follow the subreddit bc I love Aurora and I won’t post again after this, I just don’t get it.

Merch in the states?

Looks like the UK store has a sweatshirt, shirts, the glasses, etc. while the US store has more limited options. Would it be dumb to buy the sweatshirt from the UK store? I want to get it while I can!

Vinyl signed misunderstanding 😂

Lol when I first opened my package I was like, wait did they just scrubbed the pen on and called it a signature? This is a rip-off.

Lol no, it’s the other side of the insert that’s signed 🤣

Anyway super happy to came safely to Australia 💕

Favorite single from TOMORA?

I don't know if this was done before. But I'd like to know what are your thoughts on the TOMORA project overall.

MY BABY

NOT OFFICIAL

I made these cassettes and shared them to Instagram a while ago but thought I'd share them here too!

(I do wanna clarify I don't sell any custom cassettes.. I'm pretty sure that'd be illegal because of copyright)
