Felt like a gift this week as I just saw The Smashing Pumpkins in Brooklyn. Incredible concert. Awesome week of press in the YB sphere, I’m so proud of all of them.

I loved following Jesse Jo as she supported Cannon’s Everything Glows tour. Her lil TikToks have been so cute, glad they’re all having fun together. I love all her outfits and glam, her voice and the band sound so awesome and I can’t wait to hear what she has planned next.

YB played “Bitter Sweet Symphony” on his radio show last night. Such an amazing song.

For years, I couldn’t hear it without thinking about the songwriting dispute with The Stones. They handled that so aggressively, and I really felt bad for Richard Ashcroft.

Thank fuck, I realized last night that when I hear it now, my mind goes straight to this exceptional performance on such a special day. Pure poetry and pretty peak bittersweet, although I’m not sure that word even begins to describe it.

Anywayyyy, happy Tuesday! Hope we’re all feeling alive, present, and joyful today, even if that joy comes packaged with a few other feelings too.

This song had me at the crunching snow and the first notes of the acoustic melody. I love the stripped-back production and her beautiful, raw voice. Such mature songwriting. I love the vulnerability and quiet sadness, and the way it gradually opens into something a bit more hopeful.

Love the way nature and a special place can help us get back in touch with ourselves, and I think the music video and song capture that beautifully. ❤️‍🩹
