6 months post op peri (Dr. Wolter, Germany)

First three pics 6ish months post op, last one two weeks post op.

Wanted to share an update since I mostly saw pics of muscled peri results pre op and wanted to share how it can look like on someone with basically zero chest muscles lol

Got surgery at the the end of December with Dr Wolter in Sana Krankenhaus Gerresheim in Düsseldorf.

Surgeon and hospital stay genuinely couldn't have been better, everyone was incredibly kind. For a detailed description check my post in the germantrans sub.

Generally speaking happy with my results. I do have a dent on my left side, most visible in the third pic. Surgeon said it would likely even out if I worked out though and currently it doesn't really bother me a lot since it isn't visible through shirts.

Open to any and all questions but won't share pre op pics and don't know my pre op cup size.

Issues with seroma?

I had my surgery on the 3rd and had my drains in until yesterday (around 60ml at the end, not a lot)

Everything was fine until this morning. I've already contacted my surgeon with pictures but he's gone until the 17th (my check-up appointment) they're very watery/swollen in general. I've switched out the post-Op binder for the one provided by them since I believe that it was a bit too tight around my stomach which made the liquid gather under my chest. After a few hours of wearing the new one it seemingly spread more evenly. I'm not sure if that's a good sign.

I've been lightly massaging/tapping the area and heating with a warm water bottle. The left side has gotten better but it kind of burns in that area now. The right side is still rather swollen.

Any tips, similar experiences? I don't want to ruin my results with this :(

it's hard to judge how much physical activity is alright and beneficial

Folds under nipples

(Sorry i am not english speaker, i will do my best)

Hi

I had a peri two months ago and I’m a bit worried about how my pecs are healing

I still have some adhesions and two cording on each side under my armpits that are pulling on the skin; I massage them every day and I don’t hold back when I do it! I suppose that’ll improve with time.

You can also see a lump under my left pec, so it’s probably still swollen.

What worries me a bit are two folds I have under my nipples; they appeared about two weeks post-op and I can’t tell if it’s excess skin (even though everything was nice and flat to begin with) or if they’re adhesions in addition of the still-stiff scars around the nipples pulling everything tight

Could any of you tell me if you experienced this sort of problem initially, and how it healed over time. If it’s possible, I can contact you via private message if you’d like to share your photos. Thank you so much in advance – it would really put my mind at ease!

unsure if id qualify (read desc)

DISCLAIMER: i know only surgeons can give me a definitive answer. what im looking for is people to tell me if they were similar or can make an educated guess.

alright, i need some help because i have no ability to see a surgeon for a while and have been having an OCD spiral over if id be eligible.

as you can see in the attached photos, my chest looks relatively small/minimal mass and ptosis in some angles, and much larger in others. i believe i am a large A or small B, at least on my bigger side.

i am currently pre-t but unsure if t will do anything for me, as my mom has the densest breasts possible basically, and im unsure what mine’s composition is. i can compress my breasts about 50% of the way with a flat palm over my nipple area, but squeezing the sides it feels very firm, and when laying flat from the sides it looks quite small, but from the front it looks like two distinct mounds.

im hoping someone here could tell me if id be eligible or borderline (i have good skin elasticity/pass the pencil test and am okay with some revisions if needed), if they were a similar size, or even if im likely to see much change on T.

my chest size also fluctuates quite randomly throughout the day, and in these photos/videos it is about the middle-high end of its range. my nipples are about max size here and can get much smaller.

also, apologies that i imagine this question is asked a lot. im kind of desperate because im truly unsure how else to get an idea right now if id be eligible. id be willing to make a lot of sacrifices to get peri or another minimal scar technique, as my hope is to pass as cis naked eventually. id be fine with DI if there was a way to 100% make the scars imperceptible, but without verteporfin i dont think thats possible

Would I be likely to qualify for periareolar?

I know that it's dependant on a lot of factors and that you can't know for sure just by looking at pictures. But would you say I have a decent chance?

Extra skin for now, 3 weeks post op

30C cup before (never wore bras but I measured myself to find out).

Keyhole surgery (incisions only under nipples). I was told from the start there would be extra skin to be removed later, since only breast tissue was removed in this surgery, no skin excision. I didn‘t know for sure what that would look like, so I’m posting this as a reference for others who are borderline candidates!

(Not related, lol, but the leaf in the pic isn’t a tattoo, I drew it on top of the photo.)

My right side (left in photos) is mostly fine, it’s my left (right in photos) that has issues. My left breast and areola was larger pre-op, and sagged a bit.

(I’m 4 weeks PO now but the photos are from week 3 - nothings changed)

My surgeon was Dr. George Chatson. I’m very happy with my experience. He understood my goal of having minimal scarring and made it work, and I was always informed of what to expect and the risks that could come with this surgery.

Basic info about myself: I’m young (18-25), and have been on T for 1.5 years.

Question for people post op about areola size

Hey! I’m getting top surgery in like 3 weeks and have been super anxious about my areola size, currently they are like 30 mm but my doctor does hemiareolar bc the risk of the nipple getting necrotic is too big, she said that my nipples would look normal since they would shrink a bit after surgery but if I am still unsure I can get them resized a year after the og surgery.
So my question is, did your nipples shrink after surgery? And how big are they? Would a 30 mm areola be clocky? If you want you can scroll on my page where I posted some pics of my chest

“Quantum RF”?

Hello guys, I’ve recently had an online discussion with the coordinator of a local doctor I have been looking toward getting top surgery for. For context, I am currently overweight, so while I do not have a lot of breast tissue at all, I have a lot of fat still due to the weight. Because of this, I was unsure whether id qualify for peri areola (170 pounds, 5’5). However, upon the doctor reviewing my pictures, she recommended that she could do peri areola over double incision, as she considered me “borderline”, but with something additional called “quantum RF”. I began looking around to see if anybody else has had a similar procedure with “quantum RF” for top surgery, but since it’s so new, I can’t seem to find anything online anywhere. I know the doctor explained it a little more to me, which it helps tighten the skin, but id love to read somewhere other experiences and whether this is something I should opt for or do double incision instead since I am borderline. Any info anybody knows would be great, thank you everybody in advance.

Additionally, the surgeon is Dr. Rukmini Rednam located in Houston, TX. She has amazing results online of both double incision and peri/keyhole, just not that much, so I am really considering her opinion.

TDLR; qualified for peri areola with an additional add on called “quantum RF” due to being borderline. Unable to find too much research online, anybody else have experience, or know more of this procedure?

Lot of scar tissues

Hi all,

English is not my first langage but I will try to be as clear as possible

I had surgery 7 weeks ago, I had no issue with my scars around areola but 4 weeks after the surgery I started to have a lot of adhesion/scar tissue under armpit, on my pecs and under the nipples. My surgeon told me to do massages with body lotion to remove them, but nothing more.

The tissue is really rough to the touch and is like a rope under the skin, it is a little painful and it is so tight I can't even squeeze it between my fingers. I took photos but I can't see any improvement. I keep massaging it multiple times a day but I would like to know if you guys had the same problem ? And if it eventually goes away, because for now I don't like how it looks

Thank you

Is it possible to raise the nipple?

Im looking for examples where people had their nipples raised via peri. Ive heard of it being possible but im yet to see results. My surgeon said he could raise about 1cm but i dont think he had any examples to show for this. Has anyone here had this done?

What has happened to my nipple?

I’m 5.5 weeks post op and had to have tape over my nipple for a couple weeks. I’m guessing it’s wound separation? Once it fully heals will it look like a normal nipple or will it look like a stretched out scar by my nipple. Also don’t mind the awful tan/burn lines from the plasters🫪

4.5months post peri with Dr. Jordan (Chicago)

Photos go in reverse chronological order. 1-3 are ~4 months post op, 4-7 are 6 weeks post op, and the last 6 were the first week.

I had no major complications having this and my hysto done in the same surgical event. the first week was pretty terrible, but I stayed with friends who took great care of me. For the 6 weeks I had off work, I was mostly tired and not doing much. Slowly got back into things, and I can say 4.5 months post op I’m just living life. So grateful.

Organizing the joint surgery was relatively easy, but I had to be on top of communicating between offices. they didn’t always talk to each other.

Everyone on both teams was great except one pre op nurse. Northwestern was a good experience.

Recovery Questions

I'm currently going through the process to get coverage and I'm hoping to get peri.

How long after surgery could I go back to school/work? I have a kinda physical job (cooking in a kitchen + will be in the army reserves by the time I get surgery) so I wanna know how much time I should prepare to take off work.
