How do I get good at tracer
I main genji and managed to reach diamond last season, and i find tracer to be a fun character. Can you give me tips on how to play tracer.
Any tips on diving Sierra?
I get she's not a good Hero, but with the way her spray and bullet size works, I can't get close and 1 clip her without the other player spazzing out and somehow hitting every shot anyway. I'd have to waste a good 2-3 blinks and a recall almost every time and they just have to get lucky with a spray and pray.
IT CAME BACK!!
I asked in here 173 days ago will this bundle ever return, lo and behold it did!! I’m so happy I can finally use the tracer skin!
PLEASE BLIZZARD,
overwatch no longer releases awesome tracer skins, the new ones are always recolor or similar, i would drain my wallet for this skin
and this is why Tracer is my favorite character ❤️🔥
How to play around Cass
So this is a question I had for a while but I want to see if someone else can give me good advice on how to play when a Cass is present because honestly my entire gameplay just changes and I don't know how to keep playing Tracer.
All the time when I see someone having the same problem is always the same answer... "Just bait the flash bang", and it genuinely pisses me off because there's some good Casses around there that don't miss or just guesses where you will blink and decimate you in a second. It doesn't help the fact that I'm playing on LATAM servers, which means that brazilians have a massive ping advantage plus the whole "favor the shooter" system, so I don't know if I have a skill issue and don't react in time or if I need to play around knowing that.
The thing is, I know that when I cannot 1v1 a Cass I just try to avoid him and just go for the other members of the team, but like I said good Casses just don't ignore you, they actively know that they have to be your nightmare, so they just stick to their team and peel them.
And that is, I just don't know, it is the only hero that I don't know how to play around when it is present in the match. I know that it depends on the map too, but I mostly play dive so even in large maps where I rather play Shion or Genji than a pure hitscan (I know, not the most recommended thing but it is what I like) Cass still counters me no matter what hero I use, but Tracer is the one that I have the most trouble because he just erase you with a flash bang and a free crit to the head (75 + 140 = immediately dead).
Thanks in advance.
Game Gave Me 1 SR
Has anyone else had this issue. it’s kinda funny.
Is this how i know i’ve made it?
it was just a qp game and i joined like in the second round of lijiang tower and kinda popped off
How can I stop being terrible at Tracer?
I’m gold 2 on dps and I’ve been trying to learn to play tracer recently but it’s really hard. Almost every game I get flamed because I get low dmg.
I feel like my uptime is abysmal and I lose almost every duel I take. This match was on oasis which I usually do good on but I feel like I played poorly and was getting flamed after round one. Advice doesn’t even have to be Tracer specific if you see any general game sense or mechanics flaw please tell me. The replay code is 247M2J and my username is Vetrey. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
How to actually keep damage high?
I always struggle with damage, even with around 40% solo kill and maybe 60/70% last hit on high elim games im still far behind on damage?
Even with 10 more elims than the other dps' im still at like 60% of their damage.. even when im often focussing tank after killing 1 or 2 people backline or retreating
what’s happening when I rubber band INTO a cass flash?
I have this thing where sometimes when I’ll bait out a flash from a cass ill legit rubber and BACK into the flash and get affected by it. Is there smth intentional here or is it just latency? I have on average like 50 ping so I suspect it might be but I really don’t know
How to actually carry super low ranks?
Hi, so im around gold 2, im bad and not ashamed to admit it, I wouldnt say im horrible as usually im pretty good in shooters reaching top ranks in some similarily paced ones. However here I wanna ask for advice based on what I struggle with most currently:
First of all, I wanna say I do not blame teammates ever, if I talk bad about teammates, thats just a question to ask about how I can play around that. Everybody gets worse or better teammates, thats how games work.
Most of my bad games(not pulling weight and I feel it):
Often I can accurately see what happend and why it happend. i wont be asking about these as I can polish them myself. But here are moments I struggle with the most. With scenario, im talking about general states many games can be in.
Scenario 1: my tank plays rather defensively, and once tanks clash it opens a window for me. When enemies are spread out its not a problem, but when enemies are pretty packed together I struggle to find a kill or even reliable damage, often enemies turn around and it either only takes half a second to kill me, or I need to recall without much value.
How do I pull weight when enemies are grouped permanently?
Scenario 2: the "counterpick" enemy dps are something like phara and junk or phara and cassidy and junk
I often struggle to get reliable picks on flying heroes, as my range falls off so heavily. How do I engage there and where should I position?
Scenario 3, the one I struggle with by far the most.
This is where I get steamrolled so often I gotta ask.
So so often I just get predicted hard, like prefired or ganged up even if my team is engaging and I wait for them to "take aggro" they just take a second and already know im coming, even with a tank inside of them? Often I can feel theyre a good communicating team while im solo, how do I circumvent good enemy communication while my team has none?
Okay this would be the main criticality points of when im losing, next with less prio, i wanna ask about games that are either close or we lose slightly below them while I am playing pretty well.
Some games, I dominate enemy supports and dps. Even to a point where im clearly solo carrying, BUT this only happens when my tank is decent and gives me the space to do so. Even if the tank isnt the better one, i can still find my way.
But the problem arises when I played very well and my team isnt too bad either, yet my tank is just buns. Taking bad engagements, not preassuring enemies, etc
How do I play around that? Even when I play well I just cant gain match momentum beyond 1 or 2 kills when my tank is just the worse player.
This isnt a complaint about worse players, im in gold, I just want advice how I can take care of myself around worse teammates, as well as the questions above when im not pulling my weight, should hopefully help me get better.
Thank you
Mogs shion with tracer bomb?!
i posted it on titkok but it never went viral so if u guys want to support my tracer channel i will be happy <3
I'm a diamond tracer player looking for help identifying any big mistakes or easily fixable bad habits from this close match on Suravasa
47NATD
I am EvilHedgehog, playing only tracer this game.
This was a super close match but I feel like I could have easily carried if I had played differently, it felt like the enemy tank was just rolling us over at the end and there was little we could do.
I checked the ranks of most of the other players and they were all High Diamond/Masters last season, which is a bit higher than I usually play as, I assume this is because of Emerald being added.
Looking for Glaring mistakes in my gameplay or even small things that will make a big difference. I've been working on trying to time my engages with the tank but It's difficult, especially with so many different tanks, so tips on that would also be amazing.
\\ I play at 800dpi 4.3 Sens
Thanks!
