Ulta Beauty worst Customer Service
Disappointing customer service from start to finish.
While I was initially greeted at the door, the rest of my shopping experience was completely frustrating. Not once was I approached or offered assistance on the floor.
I had to ask for help finding products three separate times. Each time, the employees seemed entirely preoccupied chatting with friends and sampling products themselves rather than assisting customers. Instead of helping me locate items, they simply pointed toward an aisle and immediately walked away to continue their conversations. At one point, employees were actively sampling right in front of an item I needed; without asking what specific product I was looking for, an employee simply said "it's right here" and walked away.
When I couldn't find the item and asked if there was a separate display anywhere in the store, I was flatly told "no." I asked if they were certain since there wasn't even a shelf tag or empty spot on the shelf, and they insisted there was no other location. Sure enough, I found a separate display with the exact product on my own a few moments later.
Checkout was just as dismissive. When the cashier asked if I found everything, I shared that it was difficult to find items and that I couldn't get help on the floor. Her response was, "Well, did you ask for help?" When I explained that I had asked three times, she said nothing, handed me my receipt, and dismissed me.
