My car tool bag

For Minor repairs, also carry more tools on the trunk.
Replacing the opinel knife for a victorinox harvester soon and adding a 4mm to 1/4 bit conversion to the oknife so I can fit a set of regular bits. I will also include the T10,T15,T20,T25,T30,H3,H4,H5,H6,PH1,PH2,SL4 in a double bit format so there are only 6 bits.

I will then get rid of the SL4 ratchet I carry.

On the back pockets of the maxpedition mini I have 6 tyrap pieces, cord, epoxy putty, butterfly band-aids and antibiotic ointment.

My go bag

What else do I need? It’s a maxpedition bag that’s double sided and about 6-7 inches tall. A few knives, a pencil, a ruler, some sand paper, a couple of bandaids, a chopstick (snowman noses), a strop, and a break tip box cutter. Some blocks of wood, some precut, and a glove. The strop is about 5.5 inches of wooden yardstick and a leather belt contact cemented together.

Satchel/pouch/fanny pack

Good morning friends! Some time lurker, first time poster. I love the idea of EDC, bit i'm bit lost in terms of a container for my stuff. What do you recommend? I'm torn between satchel that I could attach to my backpack/belt small satchel or a fanny pack. Those are the things that I've found useful:

  1. Wallet (duh)

  2. Small notebook

  3. So called combat pen

  4. Vintage Gerlach pocket knife

  5. Flashlight

  6. Wired earphones with case

  7. Fiio Snowsky Echo Mini music player

Thanks in advance, best regards.

Got tired of my glove bag falling apart, so I started building my own gear

Background: IBEW-NECA apprentice track, so I’ve lived out of a glove bag and a tool pouch. Every setup I bought was either cheap nylon that shredded in a season, or “tactical” stuff designed by someone who’s never actually worked a pole or a panel.

So I started building my own. 1000D Cordura, MOLLE-compatible so you can actually configure it around how *you* work instead of whatever some factory decided. First piece is a modular lineman glove bag — built to take abuse, keep your rubber goods protected, and not turn into a garbage bag by month three.

Not trying to hard-sell anybody. Mostly want a gut check from people who actually beat their gear to death daily

Took a different approach.

16 Tools In total. All Titanium besides the GPCA Pro X Key carabiner.
If we include wrench sizes 24 tools.
This thing is half the size of what you are imagining so get that outta your head. I need all these things with me because I have a TBI. It is modular so I usually only have about half of it with me due to daylight No need for flashlight/nail clipper if used/2nd pry bar & 2nd knife. Without those its minimal see size ref pick.

Includes:
Phillips and Flathead screw drivers built into the carabiner
3 Hidden keys in the Pro X Key arm.
Nail Puller
Measurement unit
11 Tritium Vials in total.
Rovyvon Aurora A4 Pro Ti Flashlight with Tritium inserts I put in.
Ti: Pill bottle, scissor, pen, toothpick, nail clipper, Damascus knife, 7 glow Fobs Can use as beacons I set up a campsite hazard spots with or similar if necessary.
5 magnetic locking quick releases, All Keyrings are Ti as well as the UFO.
Air Tag that yells at me if I've left it behind.
If you have memory problems this is quite the helpful solution.

Pouches, Hosters and Sheaths

What are y'all using to carry all your shit.

Do you prefer one holster that neatly carries everything? Bags and fanny packs? Loose in your pocket like some kinda animal!

I try to stay pretty simple with a Leatherman Arc, Knipex Cobra 5" and a NEBO Inspection light.

I also have a tape measure on my belt basically at all times. Any suggestions.

What kind of pouch should I get?

What pouches do y'all recommend? I kind of want something that I can put some velcro patches on. I've really only used a sandwich bag and I want something that won't tear or rip after 3 days. I normally carry a lighter, pocket knife, pen, and some gum. Any recommendations would be awesome, thanks.

32m Maintenance

1st photo is my work edc, 2nd slide is evenings and weekends. I switch it up a bit sometimes, but it's been pretty consistent recently.

A Humble Beginning

This EDC has lived in a pocket in my backpack for a while, but now I'm carrying different bags day to day so the EDC needs to live in a pouch

  • Fisher Space Pen
  • Sharpie
  • Leatherman Arc
  • Energizer Performance Metal "Tactical" Light (300)
  • SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go USB Type-C
  • A USB-A to USB-C adapter and a USB-C to USB-A adapter
  • Pro Gaff tape
  • Anker Powerline II 3-in-1 Cable

Looking for an EDC Retractable ID/Keycard holder

Hello guys!

I'm a medical professional practicing in the Philippines. I often travel by train to work on a daily basis. And I'm tired of getting my smart card, and ID badge from inside of my bag whenever I need to swipe them.

I'm looking for a reliable, heavy duty (non plastic please), retractable ID/keycard holder for the job. Thank you!

What's your go to place to store your EDC items? What's your biggest frustration with them?

The entire point is for an easy storage and easy use situation for these things but curious how out of hand it can be...
