My GBA SP & Pokemon Sapphire
I bought this IPS modded GBA SP last year but haven’t played it a lot since. My Analogue Pocket got more play time. Lately I felt a pull towards the dark side…ehm…my GBA SP and I’ve been continuing my Pokemon Sapphire play-through. It’s always fun to pick this up though.
Nostalgic Summer [Lo-Fi Hip Hop, OP-1 Field, SP-404MK2]
I wrote this little loop the other night but wasn't feeling it. This morning I listened again and I actually liked it better so I hooked everything up for recording the performance.
I played the drums on the EP-133 KOII and recorded them into the OP-1 Field, added the chords, bass and melody, the SP-404 MK2 provides the FX.
I hope it gets you nostalgic too.
Let me know what you think or what I could improve, I'm only 1 year into the OP-1 Field.
Thanks for watching and listening!
Upgrade from Echo Mini to Echo worth it?
Hi!
I’ve had my Echo Mini since January 2026 and have been enjoying it a lot. As the full-sized Echo has been out for a few months I’ve been thinking if it’s worth upgrading to the big Echo. From what I gathered, the big Echo is made from metal and a little bigger in size. Is the UI still the same or has Snowsky done any significant changes that make it easier to use? I do like premium-built devices but the UX and UI also need to be enjoyable.
How much bigger is the screen in real-life? Does it make a difference?
Thanks in advance for any user experience from people that have upgraded or use both.

Summer ‘26 EDC
From top left to bottom right:
- iPod 5th Gen (no mods except new battery)
- Nothing Headphone (1)
- Casio G-Shock DW5600FF
- Tamagotchi Connect Silver Snowflake (JPN)
- Canon IXUS 70 (SD1000 in the US)
- Analogue Pocket (Ltd Edition Transparent Smoke)
- Pokemon Silver Edition (German version)
- Yashica T5D (T4 Super in the US)
Not pictured: iPhone 15 Pro Max, powerbank, charging cables.
I slowly moved from an all-black tech EDC to this silver & white EDC for the summer which I’m loving a lot currently.
I got the Yashica T5D very recently (yesterday!) and I’m looking forward to shoot it a lot over the summer. Everything else I’ve owned for a while already.
If you got any questions, I’m happy to answer.
They all play really nicely together (Minimal Electro jam)
Over the weekend, I worked on this track. I find it hilarious that the melody/vocal bit is my voice pitched up. I just recorded a “huuuuuuuhhhhh” (Like the guy from Anderton’s Synth channel) into the mic op the KOII and pitched it up😂
I’m not sure about genre, but I had Ela Minus in my head.
Rig rundown:
- EP-133 KOII: drums and vocal bits
over USB-C to
- OP-1 Field: chord pad + bass
MIDI Out to
- Torso S-4: background noise
- Each device goes into the TX-6
I recorded the TX-6 directly into my phone.
Let me know what you think or what I could change.
Waking up at 4AM…
I bought my OP-1 Field during the sale last year and have owned it now for 1 year. I love this thing and I don’t regret it at all. It opened up a new way of creating music for me, different from the guitar that I’ve been playing for the past 20 years.

ATLANTIS - ambient soundscape | OP-1 Field + Torso S-4 + TX-6
A couple of days ago I posted a short clip of this song and it made a bit of a stir as people were only asking why I use two Torso S-4😅
Here’s the full song now (slow ambient, 7 minutes 55 seconds long).
Thanks if you listened through and for any feedback.
Enjoy!
