what's your visual reaction time and age?

i see people share their reaction time a lot, and they say it has to do a lot with age, im super curious to see what everyone's reaction time and age is to see how this compares

  • drop your age + average ms below + monitor refresh rate
    • if u want to test yours out you can use Detection (Ultimate) on aimlabs or humanbenchmark
      • btw you dont have to aim on that detection thing, you just press when you see a circle

Edit: I added that you should include refresh rate, this will be more helpful

in your opinion: is there such a thing as a mouse being TOO light?

honestly feel like at some point it's pointless, and you're making it harder for yourself to aim in some situations. what do y'all think?

do younger players actually improve faster, or do they just have more time?

i always thought it's quite common to see people say that younger players pick up mechanics faster, and they climb the ranks much quicker when they start practicing at a young age. but i was wondering is that just biology or like is that they just have way more time, and that biology is quite insignificant in gaming?

i guess for all of you who started aim training later, how do you guys optimize your training to keep up with those who have endless hours to grind? can you even catch up?

Shorter daily sessions or longer weekly sessions

Hello, I am a casual gamer who has started shifting a bit away from some FPS games and more into casual titles. However, I do still play them relatively often and don't want to lose any more of my skill.

I don't generally like aim training, as I find it boring, so I feel like I'd like to get smaller sessions so it doesn't end up feeling like a chore. I have ADHD, so when I find something boring, it's really hard for me to do it past the first few minutes of playing around. But at the same time, I really don't want my skill to depreciate as I venture into other hobbies alongside my FPS one.

Would it be more beneficial to do shorter 15-ish minute sessions daily, which can vary depending on mood? or something that's like 2-ish hours on a Saturday every week?

And for either one, what playlists should I go after? I currently use Aimlabs, as I don't use Aim trainers enough (yet) to justify paying for Kovaaks (it's cheap). Would it be best to use VDIM or some other similar trainer, or use a bulk playlist every week?

If you have tips or playlists/scenarios I can use, thank you a lot for your help.

looking for advice about everything basically..

ive been playing fps for a while and got into aim training on and off, currently grinding VT and Viscose benchmarks. my aim is fine for like 5 minutes then i genuinely feel like i lose my hands and cant aim anymore, plus my hand/forearm start hurting a bit and every grip i try just feels uncomfortable. i feel like my tension management is fine (even thought it starts hurting maybe its bc im weak in my wrist or something) and my chair and desk are a good height so idk what it could be.
Any advice is highly appreciated
