Shipping now several deliveries

I ordered 3 items for shipping this morning on one order. I live almost 20 miles from the store. Now they have sent each item individually with a driver ? Every 30 minutes someone else shows up and drops something at my house. This is stupid and I can’t even leave a tip. Is there a way to assure my shipped orders are actually shipped ?

In home delivery does not appear in the schedule Even though I'm a Walmart in home delivery customer

Since last week I'm having trouble with scheduling because there is no time slots for in-home delivery on my account even though I am a Walmart plus customer with in-home delivery.

I just don't get any times slots for delivery other than the paid ones or the 0 ones where you still have to pay a tip. anyone else having this problem?

The whole reason I got this was I because I did not want to pay any tips anymore let them handle it is what I thought now they can't handle it.

UPDATE: So I called the local store that normally delivers my orders and talk to the supervisor in for in-home delivery and they told me that one of their drivers just went AWOL and the other ones on vacation so they put a stop to in home online until the one comes back from vacation which is next week and that's why I'm not seeing the slots for the store.

He also told me that I can change my base store and then get In home from another store. So I tried that out the way he told me apparently I have to select the bay store in two different spots or something which I did and then I was able to see in home delivery for that store and I was able to get something delivered today.

You're right they can't keep the help they get ....,maybe low pay, or working them to death, or someone who doesn't really want to work.

Thanks for all the input, I appreciate it!

Item "not available" - not really

being using W+ for a little more than 1 year now.

I had a problem where an item I ordered was not available. Got the text message a few hours before my delivery - I had chosen a delivery time that was ~7 hours after I ordered.

The item was Fun Pops - freezable (not yet frozen) popsicles. This was the second time in a row that they were reported "unavailable". The problem is, in the summer time, they move these to an end-cap near the cash registers as an impulse buy. So, the regular location as shown in the app sometimes has them and sometimes doesn't - but there are usually very many of them in the promo spot. I know this and I put this message into the "delivery instructions" for my order, so they know where to look.

Today, after I got the message that they were unavailable, I went to the store where i got my delviery from and found many boxes of them right where I had described in my delivery instructions.

So my questions:

- Are the shopper and the driver different people? I have heard mostly they are different, (and I see the shoppers filling orders inside the stores - they dont look like they are also drivers), but sometimes, the driver also does the shopping.

- Does the shopper see my delivery instructions? I assume yes, and sometime put notes about my shopping preferences in the delviery instructions (e.g. "less ripe bananas")

It is frustrating - I dont want to deduct money from the tip if it is not the drivers fault, but i am certinaly not getting the service I should and I feel there is someone in the chain who just doesnt care enough to find the products i have ordered.

Any insights or thoughts about how i can address this are appreciated.

Driver stole order? You think?

Did an order last week and he delivered the small, inexpensive stuff but conveniently the more expensive stuff wasn't delivered. I thought, ok honest mistake maybe the store didn't give him the rest. Got refund. All forgiven.

But it happened again today! The lady brought pudding. Thats it. On an order that had pudding cups, milk, clorox pads, 2 frozen dinners, coffee creamer and ice cream. All I got was pudding.

So what I want to know is who does the shopping for walmart? Is it the delivery person? Does delivery get a print out of what customers ordered? Because its too much of a coincidence 2 orders in a row the more expensive stuff not delivered.

Walmart + failure professionally handled?

I'm a handicapped guy who has had + for years and dozens of deliveries! I always pay $5 for the 3hr window and they have always been on time until today. Today, they FAILED me!

Here's what happened - I knew I was in trouble when they started shopping my order with 25min remaining in the window. A couple of minutes after the window expired, I received an apology email estimateing a 45 min delay and they waived my $5! I was impressed!

Instead of 45min, my order arrived about 30min late and was filled perfectly! My driver who was a contractor, also apologized!

So 1 miss out of dozens and professionaly handled. I say WELL DONE WALMART!

Delayed delivery.

Hello. I had groceries scheduled to be delivered to my house today at 1-3pm. About a quarter until 3, my order was updated as delayed and 4:10 was the new scheduled delivery time. Well, that came and went with no further updates. There has been stormy weather on and off today. I guess that is the reason for the delay? I want to reschedule for tomorrow, but can't seem to find the options for that. Can anyone help me out with this situation? Thanks.

Do Spark Drivers Know If an Order Is Shipping vs. Delivery?

I tip when I get a delivery order. Shipping is free, it’s usually just one item, there isn’t an option to add a tip, and I’m also usually not home. I figure it still helps create business and income for Spark drivers, but I don’t want a Spark driver to think I’m not tipping them. Do Spark drivers know if they’re delivering an order versus a shipping item?
