Not having a lot of success with Walmart grocery delivery. What was your experience like?

I’m already paying $10 to have them express deliver the groceries to my house. On top of that I pay $10 tip to the driver to drop off the items. I get text message updates when an item is not available and the majority of times when I go in the app, it shows that there are no substitutes for that specific item.

It’s frustrating because within an hour of the groceries being dropped off at my door, I’m already at the Walmart looking for the items only to find them sitting on the shelf with tons in stock. Sort of defeats the purpose of paying $20 for delivery when I can just go to the store and shop for myself to save the money. But I hate shopping in busy stores and I hate long lines. What has your experience been like with grocery delivery?

why does chase always place a hold on all my money orders??

A money order is treated the same as cash not a check so I’m not understanding it. I never had this issue with Bank of America. I’ve had my chase account for over 6 months now. Last time the teller explained to me there will be a hold whenever my bank account does not have enough funds to cover the amount of the money order.

However I went today to deposit a money order for $1,500 and they still placed a hold despite me having 3X that amount sitting in my checking account right now! So why is this happening each time even when I have the funds to cover it? had I known this I would have gone to the post office to cash it since it was their money order but by the time the teller explained that would be a hold he had already deposited the money orders so I couldn’t take them back.

Could this be the alternator or is it just a dead battery?

2010 Honda Civic LX with 130 k miles.

So basically, I’m stupid. I left the light on inside my car overnight. When I woke up this morning, the car wouldn’t start. I had the car jumpstarted and took it to AutoZone and they said the battery is fine. So I put the battery back in and I drove off to the gym, which was about 20 minutes away. When I left, I noticed that the car would not start. I had to jumpstart it again. Thankfully, I have a jumpstarting device in my car.

I was driving home and about five minutes later I got to a red light. I’m sitting at the front of light and right as the light turns green, my car starts acting like it’s about to shut off, so I press on the gas and the car goes into full power and continues to drive. I made it home. But as soon as I turn the car off and try to turn it back on, it won’t start. So I’ll have to jump it again tomorrow.

There’s no battery light on in my car. The headlights are perfectly fine nothing is dim. I don’t hear any weird noises in the car. But when go to jumpstart the car, it gives me a hard time and you hear the car cranking up slowly a number of times before it actually gets to start. So is this an alternator problem or just a completely dead battery? Either way I took the battery out and I’m going to leave it charging overnight with my device.

Has anyone else having problems when trying to refill their 3+ sensor?

This has been ongoing for just over a month now. Today I called six different Walgreens locations before I found one that actually had sensors in stock. The same thing happened a few weeks ago and a few weeks before that! It seems like when I call I have to keep calling around because nobody has it in stock. If I tell the Walgreens to just order it and call me when it’s ready it takes them a week minimum before they have it. Not sure if there’s a shortage on sensors or if anybody else is having a problem getting them.

I have never seen devil wears Prada. I can finally say I’ve watched the Devil wears Prada one and two!

My friend was trying to convince me to go watch the devil wears Prada two with him. I said no because if I haven’t seen the first one, why would I go see the second one? I also said that these are not my kind of movies. Well, I went against my judgment and decided to watch the first one the other night.

The verdict is I loved it! I loved it so much that I texted my friend right away and told him that we were going to see the second one the very next day. We ended up being the only two people in the whole theater. I’m so glad I can finally say that I’ve seen them both and I liked them both a lot.

What could this be? Check engine light keeps turning on and off P0171 code

2010 Honda Civic LX.

The car has over 200 K miles however, the engine was replaced a few months ago with one that had only 130 K miles.

So about two months ago, the check engine light came on in my car and when I ran the code it came back to the P0171 system too lean bank 1. I replaced the mass airflow sensor and did a relearn on the car because the car kept shutting off every time I would come to a complete stop. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue as the check engine light came on a few hours later.

The mechanic came by my house and checked the car and I feel so dumb that I missed it but he pointed out that the hose had a massive tear right at the top. So we replaced the hose and we also replaced the air filter for good measure. The check engine light turned off by itself.

Here I am almost 2 months later. The check engine light will turn on now, but then turn itself off in a few hours, only for it to turn back on a few hours after that. The situation now is that whenever I am at a complete stop such as a stop sign or a red light and I go to press on the gas to move, it will take the car 2-3 seconds to actually begin moving even though you can hear the car rev up as soon as you press the gas. So there seems to be a delay in acceleration. I’m not sure what else this could be but the code that I’m reading on the check engine is the same P0171 system too lean bank 1 that I got 2 months ago.

It just seems very rude and in bad taste. I know it’s not required for you to leave a tip. But I can’t tell you how many times I go to pick up a customers food and I get a message in the app from the customer telling me that they will tip me in cash because they don’t do tips on the app yet when I get there, they grab the food from me.

Sometimes if I’m lucky I’ll get it thank you before having the door being closed in my face with no tip. For those of you who do this, my question is, why do you do this? If you had no plans to tip at all then why are you messaging the person to tell them you’re going to leave them a cash tip? It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it can be rather annoying.
