Mixtape is lovely

Hey guys I have a question about Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2. I have been playing this game for a very long time now and my friend has started to enjoy the game too. I play on Xbox and he will watch me play sometimes. He now wants to get the game but it costs $20 to buy the game and you need Xbox game pass to play online which costs around $80 for a year for the cheapest version of Xbox game pass. Is there anyway my friend can play the game without spending that much money?
As a big fan of RGG and the Yakuza Series and RPGs, 2027 is getting off to an INSANE start.
January 15, 2027 - Stranger Than Heaven
February 18, 2027 - Persona 4 Revival
February 23, 2027 - Fable
I generally get about 2 hours a night to play - 3-4 if I'm in the midst of a game I'm super addicted to, and I'm willing to forego a few hours of sleep (there have been 3-4 weeks at at time where I ran on 4-5 hours of sleep a night when I was playing through games like Persona 3 Reloaded and Persona 5 Royal).
I'm still debating how I'm going to approach these releases.
I guess I'm going to have to try to finish Stranger than Heaven in about 5 weeks, then play Fable on release, then circle back to Persona 4 Revival.
I know everyone is afraid of GTAVI and want to steer clear of it, but I wonder if any of these three games will be ready by December 2026. I know it's too late, but I kind of wish one would have the guts to move itself up to December 2026 - I get a bunch of time off from work around the holidays, and I'd be able to get in a lot of gaming on these three titles that are looking to be quite good.
We already kind of get the Stranger than Heaven / RGG game - so I don't anticipate it'll be vastly different than the Yakuza-style gameplay - you either like it or you don't.
Similarly, P4R will likely be quite similar to P3R and P5R - if you like that type of game (which I do), you'll like P4R.
Fable will be the question mark. From the first three, I like Fable 2 the best, Fable second best, and Fable 3 the least.
---
I can't decide which I'm most excited for. I think it's a 1a, 1b, 1c situation - I can't pick!
Which are you all most excited for, and how do you plan on juggling the three releases?!
Note: I get Game Pass later in 2027 is up in the air due to studio closures / sales, etc.
I have a 1 Month Ultimate Game pass code.
Tell me why you deserve it.
I am bored, and I want a game to 100% which is on the game pass but not to hard
cheers
Been terrible for a pretty long time, what’s the point in paying this much for ultimate if 90% of ultimate exclusives are indie games that arent expensive to buy and own.
Need to try and finish Another Crab's treasure, but my latest save is in amongst giant laser firing crab dudes and I keep getting smoked trying to get past them. Haven't played it in months, but highly recommend. Brilliant little game.
Hey all,
We are in a little bit of a gaming drag right now and my boy and I are looking for co-op game recommendations on gamepass. Must have crossplay as I am on PC and he is on console.
Thanks

It takes a fair amount of effort to stay up to date, so hopefully this is useful. TBD are best guesses. Some games are in question due to recent layoffs and studio sales.
Lots of games have that feature in other versions or other platforms. For example in COD Vanguard I can't find the setting where it usually is supposed to be. Why is that? Why is everything always harder with Microsoft?
It's very telling when the first rule of the sub is not to complain about the app because else this entire sub would exclusively be made up of just that.
I was lucky enough to get sent a 1 of 30 custom limited edition controller from Focus to celebrate the launch of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy!
Looks absolutely insane and the details is kinda mind-blowing
It's available on Game Pass Ultimate + PC Game Pass
I heard from a Friend if you use the Xbox gamepass you get one Minecraft Account and he told me that you can deactivate or delete the acc and make a brand new one with a different email again right after is that true or is there another similiar way
Would be useful to me since i get hunted a lot and i said if they dont stop i will also start to hunt them with alt accs so if the xbox gamepass can do that it would be insanely useful
This error kept appearing and I changed my region on my Microsoft account multiple times and it still kept appearing. My aunt bought the code on Amazon and sent it to me to redeem.
So I've just finished up my first playthrough of beast of reincarnation at about 24 hours in. Sitting at about half of the achievements and although I doubt I'm going to go for the 100% for it I will say I enjoyed my time. There's a lot of bad said about the game so thought I'd give my piece
Gameplay
Very very sekiro esque. And that's probably why I enjoyed it. I don't think I've really had something scratch the sekiro combat itch quite as well as this game did. Where as there really is not a lot of enemy variety, like around 10-15 different enemies throughout the whole game, the parry deflection combat scratches such an itch for me. The boss fights are also mostly repeats and the loop is essentially go to this area, explore and fight the boss at the end. It works but can be very repetitive
Story
I really wasn't invested in the story a whole lot up until maybe the final 6 chapters but honestly the story I thought was pretty decent. I won't dive deep with it still being new as to avoid spoilers but the story does pick up and it's nice to see your character grow
Upgrades, side quests, exploration etc.
So a lot of upgrades are very cool and really can deepen the combat, just a shame that you'll have learned the moves of pretty much all enemies before ever needing to make a varied moveset. Upgrades to weapons and even your stats didn't really feel like they did much but on that it could well be that it's just good and steady progression as I made my way through the game as I never really returned to earlier areas
Side quests are more just collect item x or defeat special enemy y. There's a couple of actual side quests and theyre alright
Exploration is very fluid I feel. Can feel janky at times but honestly it's a lot better than I expected
To wrap it all up. Would I be disappointed if I paid for the game. Probably yeah. Did I enjoy my time with it though? Yeah. I really did to be fair. It was a great gamepass game that I'm glad I experienced. Did it feel like it dragged on a little too long. Yeah at times. Did the world feel alive with a lot to do. No not really. I do recommend it with it being on game pass and I know my "review" isn't doing it justice but if you're curious, give it a go for a few hours. If you get invested then good. If not then you've probably experienced the majority of what the game will have to offer without experiencing the story conclusions. 6/10, 7/10. Somewhere in that bracket
Hey all! I’m looking for video games like cyberpunk 2077, not necessarily the aesthetic has to be the same but, video games like open world, where my decisions matter, and the story is great. Thanks all!
