Akia se está esforzando por elaborar recetas saludables y deliciosas para cuando Haku despierte. Todas comparten un detalle: son amarillas. Eso se debe a que todas llevan esencia de solirio para curar los efectos de la penumbra, poco a poco.

"Me pregunto si Kovar estará bien... y Rei... espero que haya podido escapar del control de Thoranel. Haku ya se ve un poco mejor así que creo que ya puedo centrarme en mis quemaduras. Aunque... Thoranel podría volver en cualquier momento haciéndose pasar por cualquier compañero..."

Ah, we meet yet again! If you've been around long enough, you will most likely know why this small story is named Déjà Vu. Now then. Here we join our hero Haku, who where we left off from last time was stabbed by someone who looked like a person he holds dear in his heart.

"Fallin' yet again...just like the back then."

Haku says as he reminisces about a past memory.

"This time though...I don't think I'll survive the fall.."

Shortly after the sentence left his mouth, an idea strikes him. Use the sword lodged in his stomach, to try and slow his descent. He yanks the sword out and stabs it into the walls of the chasm, slowing him until he reaches where the Depths begin. The sword snaps, sending Haku flying as he lands on the platform where a ghost soldier had stood with a pristine gerudo scimitar. The momentum keeps him rolling until he reaches a cliff.

"*Huff...huff...*Well...that worked...somewhat.."

His victory is short lived as the cliff gives, landing upright, snapping his legs, in a gloom pool. How will he get out? Who knows.

"Gotta...get...out..."

He says, trying to use both arms. However something feels off. He looks at his right arm, and it's broken. Oh! Do you remember the scimitar from before? Yeah, that's embedded in his arm. He crawls out of the pool, but not before a sizeable amount of gloom had entered his system.

What will become of Haku? Will anyone find him? Can he be saved? You're soon to find out.

After what felt like an eternity of running, Rei practically collapsed. Was he far from Thoranel? Safe?

Exhaustion was getting to him, so he made his way to an abandoned bokoblin camp. Not much, but at least its shelter away from everything, everyone, away from the surface.. nobody would miss him anyway, right?

Seems like Spoons is… setting up gems on a flat rock. Was the moblin.. making a shop of some kind? Bananas or food for gems?

At least Spoons wasn’t trying to eat the rocks..

Something wasn’t right. Rei was missing. Unusual for him to leave without a word. Worse yet, Kovar was pacing, looking around everywhere for Rei. He should’ve been back from a simple scout.

Kovar knew Rei wouldn’t have run off, and earlier he thought he’d heard something akin to a roar.

With a snort, he goes to follow whatever scent of Rei he could find. When he gets to where the scent slowly fades.. he was horrified to find a chasm.

“Why Rei go there?!”

No no no, he couldn’t have gone down there.. right?

Kovar is still in the depths, following the strange Moblin to find Rei! If it wasn’t for… Spoons (Kovar is wondering why the Moblin was named that) the Lynel would have left them.

But finally, after what felt like hours, he found Rei! To his disappointment the Hylian wasn’t happy. Scared but hiding well, just like Kovar taught him when Rei was younger.

Kovar nudges Spoons away, and Spoons goes off to eat rocks or lick the nearest wall.

Then Kovar turns his attention to Rei, still unaware of what happened.

Kovar: Worried, come to take you home!

Rei: I don’t want to go back.. the clan doesn’t want someone weak. H-how do I even know if you’re my dad and not..

Kovar’s ears drooped slightly. Whatever the enemy had done, it terrified Rei.

Kovar: Listen to me, boy. I would never abandon you. Not even if Link himself came to kill you. I’d kill him first to protect you.

He didn’t expect Rei to believe him, but soon he felt a hug. Kovar does his best to comfort Rei, even as he was crying.

Rei: T-that monster did something to me dad.. I was trying to hurt my friends a-and then he turned into you and Remy and Haku .. m-my mask.. he said I’d never be a Lynel..

Kovar: It’s okay.. don’t listen to him. You are my son, You are more Lynel than human. We’ll see about getting your mask fixed.. okay? Then maybe going back to the clan?

Rei quietly nods, wiping away his tears.

Rei: I see you made a new friend..

Spoons is trying to eat a diamond!

Kovar: I want to leave that thing here..

Rei: No! Spoons comes with!

Patausche has managed to finally convince Haku to duel with her. Her nerves are on the...fritz, you could say, as she's nervous to fight Haku considering how the outcome was last time they fought. ​

"Where is Master Haku?"

Haku is standing in the shadows, emerging from them as if he had just materialized.

"Right here. You wanted me, here I am."

Patausche nods, her nerves calming down a bit. She draws her rapier, and gets into her stance, ready to fight. Haku mirrors her, and sticks his hand out, as it forms in his hand, starting from his palm and spreading outward to shape a Rapier.

"..."

Neither say a word as the fight begins. Patausche doesn't get a chance to even move before Haku's all in close in the blink of an eye. ​Bringing her rapier up as fast as she can, she barely blocks his swipe. Haku takes a step back and prepares a thrust, as Patausche swings in a downward arc at Haku.

"Hah!"

Haku disappears from view and is behind Patausche, blade prepped and ready to deliver the blow. She whips around and again, just barely blocks the attack.

The plant also appears to not need water or even soil, based on the fact it's growing straight out of the desert sand
