Seems like Spoons is… setting up gems on a flat rock. Was the moblin.. making a shop of some kind? Bananas or food for gems?
At least Spoons wasn’t trying to eat the rocks..

Kovar is still in the depths, following the strange Moblin to find Rei! If it wasn’t for… Spoons (Kovar is wondering why the Moblin was named that) the Lynel would have left them.
But finally, after what felt like hours, he found Rei! To his disappointment the Hylian wasn’t happy. Scared but hiding well, just like Kovar taught him when Rei was younger.
Kovar nudges Spoons away, and Spoons goes off to eat rocks or lick the nearest wall.
Then Kovar turns his attention to Rei, still unaware of what happened.
Kovar: Worried, come to take you home!
Rei: I don’t want to go back.. the clan doesn’t want someone weak. H-how do I even know if you’re my dad and not..
Kovar’s ears drooped slightly. Whatever the enemy had done, it terrified Rei.
Kovar: Listen to me, boy. I would never abandon you. Not even if Link himself came to kill you. I’d kill him first to protect you.
He didn’t expect Rei to believe him, but soon he felt a hug. Kovar does his best to comfort Rei, even as he was crying.
Rei: T-that monster did something to me dad.. I was trying to hurt my friends a-and then he turned into you and Remy and Haku .. m-my mask.. he said I’d never be a Lynel..
Kovar: It’s okay.. don’t listen to him. You are my son, You are more Lynel than human. We’ll see about getting your mask fixed.. okay? Then maybe going back to the clan?
Rei quietly nods, wiping away his tears.
Rei: I see you made a new friend..
Spoons is trying to eat a diamond!
Kovar: I want to leave that thing here..
Rei: No! Spoons comes with!

After what felt like an eternity of running, Rei practically collapsed. Was he far from Thoranel? Safe?
Exhaustion was getting to him, so he made his way to an abandoned bokoblin camp. Not much, but at least its shelter away from everything, everyone, away from the surface.. nobody would miss him anyway, right?
It’s just a common Moblin named Spoons. Fell in the Depths and is dumb as a bag of rocks, but tries his best!

Kovar teleports back in the Depths, trotting around to find either Thoranel or Rei. Whoever came first in his line of sight.
Careful to avoid the pools of Gloom, he tries to ask some monsters if he saw anything. The bokoblins just stared and blinked at him, and Moblins were… less than helpful. One thought it saw something, so the Lynel follows the Moblin.

Something wasn’t right. Rei was missing. Unusual for him to leave without a word. Worse yet, Kovar was pacing, looking around everywhere for Rei. He should’ve been back from a simple scout.
Kovar knew Rei wouldn’t have run off, and earlier he thought he’d heard something akin to a roar.
With a snort, he goes to follow whatever scent of Rei he could find. When he gets to where the scent slowly fades.. he was horrified to find a chasm.
“Why Rei go there?!”
No no no, he couldn’t have gone down there.. right?

Kovar made sure that Rei was deep in sleep before making his move. Weapons sharpened, some shock arrows.. his wound healed. Finally he was ready to go fight his father. A threat he needed gone.
The Lynel moved as quietly as he could, not leaving a message behind. If he did, he knew Rei would try to find him, and he didn’t want Rei to find him in case he didn’t survive.
As soon as he was ou of the clan’s hide out, he starts galloping towards the mountains.
The idea of Rei casually making his own little panic room or something is now in my head
Kovar doesn’t like Hylians/distrusts them after an accident when he was little (are young Lynel’s called cubs? Foals? Not sure yet). Well, mostly an accident. Curious to go into a village and a bunch of Hylian attacked him.
Later when he finds Rei, he does attack him and causes the injury to Rei’s leg. Then he stops only because he sees himself in Rei. Just this weak/defenseless thing by himself, and Kovar feels a need to protect/guard Rei.
Or maybe another Lynel attacked Rei for getting too close. Still working on that idea.
Trying to read the wiki and from what I can gather it’s just giving gifts/delivering from Cina?
Do I make the gifts or just deliver them/are they different from the daily gifts?
