I have to say I am absolutely fuming about how I have been treated with Aligner. My account was 86ed while I was deployed to help with wildfires and they cited suspicious activity . I logged in while I was away to look at my applications before I got busy . I have been a person with good character all my life and have continued service after I got out the Army and for some person to tell me I can’t work anymore . I will tell all my other pilot and engineer friends to avoid this platform completely .

The jobs I applied for now is more on environment, fact-checking, and image description. I’m a native filipino, so I also applied for Filipino Language Expert.

I don’t really know how job application ons Alignerr works, but I’ve read from previous posts about how referrals help in getting you projects

Hi all, I received an email from someone claiming to be an Alignerr recruiter and wanted to check if anyone received anything similar. It's from the domain "alignerrcommunity.com". It seemed fishy to me because he's asking for details that should already be in my profile.

Hi everyone, I’m new to Alignerr and I’m a bit confused about something.

When I first created my account, I already completed the Zara interview. Recently, I received an invitation for the WorldSim Eval project.

For successful onboarding to this project, do I need to complete the Zara interview again, or is the previous one still valid?

If I do need to take it again, I’d really appreciate some guidance. What should I focus on while preparing? Any tips, common mistakes to avoid, or things that helped you pass would be really useful.

Would appreciate any advice from people who have gone through this process.

I've tried 2 attepmts for the eval but failed. Really needs the advices on anything to take note during the eval. It's frustrated that I had read the instructions carefully but still failed it.

Got assigned FOUR AI labeling/evaluation projects/

Thousands of rows.
Hours of annotation work.
Actual mental labour.

Pay rate?
$0.00.

Then the email hits: “You may receive a one-time $50 payment once the project reaches production and is accepted.”

Brother WHAT production !!!!!! So basically: Train our AI. Do repetitive human labour.
Help improve our product. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll buy you dinner afterward.

These AI companies are getting way too comfortable treating skilled workers like disposable NPCs running side quests for “future opportunities.”

Thankfully I stopped falling for this nonsense. If you’re job hunting, please don’t let desperation make decisions for you. Some of these platforms survive entirely on underpaid hope.

I posted yesterday about receiving emails from Alignerr for projects I’ve been added to without any pay info being attached to said projects and my post was abruptly removed by the mods for no reason other than it makes them look bad.

Well maybe if you paid people and treated your workers better I wouldn’t have had to post in the first place.

I know it takes time, project availability, skill set...etc etc. But ARE there ANY active generalist projects right now? Alignerr used to my absolute favorite platform to work on. Now, discord? dead. Projects? none. One positive I've seen lately is that the list of ALL jobs is back, unlike weeks ago when it showed me, like, 10.

no canned text please...is anyone actually working on a generalist project? I don't see how I had such a success rate with Alignerr previously with great quality and can't get on a new project...unless there are no generalist or rubrics one.

Why does Alignerr keep sending me emails that I’ve been added to projects with no indication of what the pay rate is? I am really skeptical about doing another project for them after it took 3 MONTHS to get paid the $100 per task I was promised last year, and even then they shorted me around $30. How can I trust that they won’t off board me again abruptly at 1am and just a few hours after receiving notice to correct a task, when the task payment is conditioned on revision and approval?

Hello! Sorry in advance if this question has been asked before. I have an active project on my Labelbox dashboard. This is the first project I have joined, but I have not started working because the pay rate shown is $0. I am not familiar with how this platform works, but I am wondering how I am supposed to work without knowing the pay rate. Could someone please clarify this? TIA

Has anyone got an acceptance email for Claim Assist FC Evaluation project? I haven't yet received anything and the performance tab shows that the data row has not been reviewed yet. I'm not sure if it's updated since it's an old link.

Hey everyone,

I was originally hired by Alignerr through Upwork for an audio engineering gig, so I currently have an active Upwork contract with them.

I recently got accepted to a different project/gig with Alignerr (unrelated to the audio work). I'm confused about how payment will work for this new project.

My main question: Will I be paid for this new work through my existing Upwork contract, or will Alignerr pay me directly / through their own platform?

Has anyone else here worked multiple different projects for Alignerr through Upwork? Did all payments run through your original contract, or was there a separate setup?

I currently work at Data Annotation and thought I’d apply to Alignerr. Zara cut me off while I was answering the third question. I’m a career writer and just not very good at speaking fast. I’m more thoughtful and analytical. I know I’m good at human interviews, because I’ve held high-level jobs at companies like NewsCorp, Viacom and Rainbow Holdings. I emailed support because it may have been because I took my eyes off the screen while I was thinking. I just feel like they are missing out on good people because of the AI interview process. If it had been a written test, I would have passed with flying colors - and isn’t that what they need? Okay, gripe over. Denial - in process, acceptance - still loading.

I've applied to at least 30 projects now on alignerr and completed all assessments when necessary, but nothing is happening for weeks now... Will anything I've applied for actually yield results or should I just assume that means I didn't get accepted for anything and stop checking?

For chill jobs, because I don't have a strong understanding of the scientific or mathematical side of things at the moment.

I received an email last week saying that the Audiobook project would start early this week. I haven’t heard anything since. Has anyone received another update?
