basically what the title says. i'm 21 years old and on the curvy side and i love their pants but why is everything LOW RISE???? i know that's the trend nowadays, but some of us have a little tummy and find low rise to be uncomfortable. they have very limited high rise options and it makes me so sad because they used to have so many! i'm an office girly so i can't just wear high rise jeans to work and i love their pants options :,)

I'm officially done with Ae jeans.

I ordered a size down in mom jeans to see how they fit but I imagine the waist will be very tight. I'm returning them if that's the case. Even if they fit, I'm done with Ae jeans.

All my Ae jeans from mom, skinny to flares have all Bagged out. A lot of the details claim that they never bag out but they do. I'm so pissed. I've wasted so much money on American eagle.

I've gone back to an early 2000s brand that is 99 cotton and 1% stretch material (can't recall exact name right now)

I plan to take my Ae jeans to platos closet knowing they will give me the bare bones for my jeans that are in top notch shape.

Does anyone else’s store not give them their 10s or 30s or is it just mine? I’ve been scheduled for 5 1/2 hours a couple days and i haven’t gotten any lunch breaks or anything and i thought you could get them after 5 hours. Also other people are being put on their lunch breaks and I’m just getting completely skipped over, I never asked for one because I was waiting for them to tell me to go on mine since that’s what they do for other people.

I'm coming from a different retailer as an associate, and my job has been a nightmare. I'm putting in apps and was curious how people felt about AE or their individual stores.

At my company, the credit card pushes are insane. We are aiming for 12 a day at our store, and we get punished if our conversions are low. Our stats are all posted in the backroom and we are often singled out on walkies and taken off registers and reprimanded when we aren't excelling at pushing them. I typically do very well at my store, but I don't want to hate coming into work if people just aren't interested in the cards.

How are yalls experiences?

I can add stuff to my cart on the app and in the browser and once I log in nothing is in my cart and it is a big error. I have called customer service and they dont know what yo do. This has been months now. I have deleted the app and reinstalled. Nothing….. so annoyed

I can’t seem to figure out which jeans fit me well. The straight leg I purchased in the past is just too large/baggy in the butt and crotch areas. I don’t want skinny jeans, just a step up in baggy-ness from that. Prefer a slight destroy look. I’m 5’8 - 155. Any ideas? TIA!

I’m 5’4” and every style of pants I’ve gotten from AE in a regular size are short. What is going on with the inseam at AE?! Its frustrating

The website states the jeans can be any brand but must be at least 90% cotton. But not even American Eagle jeans are 90% cotton nowadays. How strict are they on this rule? I have an old pair of old navy jeans that are 67% cotton. Do I try or is this a hard no?

Going to be interviewing for store associate role soon and wondering how many hours a day or days a week usually stores look for. Will be balancing school so don’t want to put too many hours in this semester but also don’t want to be rejected for saying I’m not available for 20hrs a week.
