I just got one of the Aerie oversize boyfriend t-shirts, the Stone Harbor color one. It looks totally different than what I was expecting. The pattern is sort of a weird greenish-gray over beige. On the screen, I thought it was closer to black and white.
Update: I was able to return in-store! I didn’t explain the whole situation, just asked to return the item and it all went normally. Thank you to everyone for the tips and hopefully this post can help someone in the future as I was searching for something like this :)

Recently had an infuriating experience where I returned via mail some bras I'd bought online, and one of them was denied a return and mailed back to me, but nothing is wrong with it. It has its tags, no stains, etc. I literally just tried it on once, found that it didn't fit, and put it back in its bag to mail back.
I've now spoken with an online live agent and also emailed their customer service photos of the item, and they all insist that there's no way for it to be re-evaluated. The one warehouse employee who receives the item decides whether or not to accept, and that's it, no way to bypass.
Aside from complaining about how obstinate and insane this return policy is (and I see upon googling now that similar things have happened to many others), I'm wondering what would happen if I tried to bring it into a store. I know I could just go and try, but thought I'd ask here first as it's a bit out of my way, and having already tried to make my case with two people online, I might straight up cry at being denied a third time in-person for no reason at all (I know it wouldn't be the cashier's fault though, wouldn't yell at them).
Has anyone tried this before? The person I emailed with said it's literally impossible for their system to create a second return mailing label once it's been denied, so while I am wondering if going and speaking to someone and showing them the item could help my case, I do also worry that even if they agree with me, they also will have no way to bypass the system.

I had this in my cart but was surprised to see that seemingly every single size has sold out in a short amount of time. IIRC it was labeled as Online Exclusive but if anyone knows if there is a chance of it coming back in stock I’d appreciate your insight!
I bought a linen shirt from an AE in Florida in the beginning of June only to find out when I got home to Canada that they left the security tag on the shirt. Since it was in my luggage during my travels, it bounced around creating a large hole caused by the needle in the security tag. I called customer service, used the live chat option and called the Florida store only for them to give me wrong directions (e.g. I can return it to an AE store in Canada). Eventually they said I have to go back to AE in the USA to return the shirt. After jumping through hoops, submitting multiple customer service requests for updates, I finally got a gift card to compensate. Funny thing is, for my troubles I had to also ask them for a discount on future purchases instead of them offering. It doesn’t end there.
Using the gift card I purchased some pjs online and they sent me the wrong item. I asked the customer service chat for a refund and they said I have to return it to the warehouse for the refund to be processed in 3-4 weeks. I was like, “No thank you”, after all the troubles I’ve been through already. They then said it was company policy. So I called the AE customer service and they gladly gave me a new gift card. My package is now waiting for me to be picked up. Fingers crossed, my AE rollercoaster ride will come to an end. I have vowed to never to purchase from AE again after this shipment 😊

I placed an order last week and it was confirmed, the following day I received an email that my order was cancelled for security reasons and to call customer service for more information. I called twice that same day, both agents said they were unable to give me the reason why my order was cancelled and that the verification department would reach out to me within 1-3 business days (the first agent couldn't put in a ticket because he claimed his system had frozen up, told me he wasn't able to transfer me and I would have to call back). The second agent I spoke to said that I shouldn't place any more orders until the verification department contacts me because "your order will be cancelled again and it could cause you to be banned from online ordering."
I called again on Saturday because I still hadn't heard from verification department (the ticket was submitted Monday). The agent was a little more helpful and told me that the only reason he could think of as to why my order was cancelled was because my billing address had been capitalized. He placed the order for me again and gave me express shipping, the order has shipped with no problem.
The verification department reached out to me this morning and said, "Our verification system is in place with the safety of our customers in mind and we are unable to provide specifics on this process. Please note that you were not charged for any cancelled order(s). Your most recent order(s) is processing normally." Like thanks, I'm aware, but I want to know WHY my order was cancelled, so if it's an issue on my end I can correct it so it doesn't happen again.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is customer service really this unhelpful and unable to help all the time? My billing and shipping address were different because I'm visiting my dad and stepmom, and needed these items shipped to their house (not my home of record). But I'm confused if that's the case, because literally no other website I've ever ordered from has cancelled an order because the addresses are different.
This is my very first time ever ordering or buying from Aerie and I'm NOT impressed. Their bras are super comfortable (I bought one in store on the 21st, but they don't carry larger cup sizes in store, which is why I went home and made an online order). But definitely not worth the hassle if this is going to be a consistent issue.

I recently got these leggings from aerie and the stitching going down the inside of the leg is coming undone. do you know if I can just snip off that one loop or will it all start to unravel? it bothers me, so if you know a way to fix it I would appreciate it!
I have been with AE for over a year with the idea and understanding that scheduling is due by Thursday the week before (as in today you should know your working Sunday).
We just switched to AE/Aerie/Offline, but prior to this my GM was pretty good at the scheduling. Mind I worked with this GM at another retailer and left because of her management style and delay and getting out schedules now we’re not finding out what our schedules are until sometime on Saturday that we’re working Sunday. What is the expectation for when they should be out because I can’t be and I’m working a day before and a lot of people are unhappy with how this is being handled
