If an anime gets cancelled, goes on an indefinite hiatus, or just hasn't gotten a new season in years do you usually pick up the manga/light novel or do you just wait and hope for another season?

For me it's RAG of course. I love how layered each character is and how well-developed they are. I've genuinely never seen anything like it.
