🥞 Homemade Wheat Flour Cheela with Fried Egg & Mango Juice

​

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup wheat flour

• 1/2 cup maida

• 1 tsp dried green chilli powder

• Salt to taste

• Water as needed

• 1 tsp oil

​

• 1 egg

• Salt to taste

• Black pepper powder to taste

• 1 tsp oil

​

• 1 ripe mango

• 1 glass chilled water

​

Method:

​

  1. In a bowl, mix wheat flour, maida, dried green chilli powder and salt.

  2. Add water gradually and make a smooth batter.

  3. Heat a pan, grease lightly with oil and pour the batter.

  4. Spread gently and cook from both sides until golden brown. The cheela is ready.

​

  1. Heat oil in another pan and crack the egg into it.

  2. Sprinkle salt and black pepper powder.

  3. Cook until the egg is done to your liking.

​

  1. Blend the ripe mango with chilled water until smooth.

  2. Strain if preferred and serve fresh.

​

  1. Serve the hot homemade wheat flour cheela with fried egg and a glass of fresh mango juice.

​

Simple, filling and tasty homemade breakfast. 😋

🍗 Would you stop at one serving of this chicken curry and rice?

🍗 Lucky Chicken Masala Curry with Jeera Rice

Ingredients:

​

For Chicken Curry:

• 385 grams chicken (₹100 worth at ₹260/kg)

• 3 tbsp oil

• 1 medium onion, finely chopped

• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

• 1 medium tomato, chopped

• 1 tsp red chilli powder

• 1/2 tsp haldi powder

• 1 tsp coriander powder

• 1/2 tsp garam masala

• Salt to taste

• 2 cups water

• Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

​

For Jeera Rice:

• 1 cup rice

• 2 tsp jeera

• 1 tbsp oil or ghee

• Salt to taste

• 2 cups water

• Fresh coriander leaves

​

For Serving:

• Onion rings

• Tomato slices

• Cucumber slices

• Lemon

• A pinch of salt

​

Method:

​

Chicken Curry:

  1. Heat oil in a cooker or pot.

  2. Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.

  5. Add red chilli powder, haldi, coriander powder, garam masala and salt.

  6. Cook the masala until oil starts separating.

  7. Add chicken pieces and fry for 5–7 minutes.

  8. Add water and mix well.

  9. Pressure cook for 3 whistles or cook covered until chicken is tender.

  10. Finish with fresh coriander leaves.

​

Jeera Rice:

  1. Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes.

  2. Heat oil or ghee in a pot.

  3. Add jeera and let it crackle.

  4. Add soaked rice and sauté gently for 1 minute.

  5. Add water and salt.

  6. Cook until rice is soft and fluffy.

  7. Garnish with fresh coriander.

​

Serve hot Lucky Chicken Masala Curry with Jeera Rice, onion rings, cucumber, tomato and lemon. 🍗🍚😋

🍍 Pineapple Juice

Ingredients:

• 1 ripe pineapple

• 1/2 tsp chaat masala (or as per taste)

​

Method:

  1. Peel and chop the pineapple into small pieces.

  2. Blend the pineapple until smooth.

  3. Strain the juice if you prefer a smoother texture.

  4. Add chaat masala and mix well.

  5. Serve immediately, chilled if desired.

Simple, refreshing and naturally sweet! 🍍🥤
