“On August 5th, Auburn Police detectives and officers from our Special Investigations Unit, General Investigations Unit, Community Response Team, School Resource Officers, and even our K9 Unit teamed up for a retail theft emphasis at Fred Meyer. Our goal was simple, proactively identify and arrest shoplifters who impact our local businesses and contribute to higher costs for everyone in our community.

In total, 5 suspects were arrested and booked into SCORE Jail on charges including theft, criminal trespass, and drug-related offenses. The Auburn Police Department welcomes everyone to our community. But if you believe paying for your items is optional, your next stop may be the SCORE Jail.”

All are welcome in Auburn — just follow the rules.

Howdy Kent Folks! I'm local comedian JR Berard, born and raised in the PNW, and I'm back in Kent next week — where the beer is superb, the crowds are thirsty, and my jokes land at just about the right amount of hopped up chaos.
 
Yeah, it's a school night. Nobody. Cares.
 
You're the adult now. No homework, no bedtime, no permission slips — just as much beer as you want and an outdoor tent of strangers who also decided Sunday was optional. Nobody — nobody — gets to tell my audience what to do for their Sunday scaries!
