First off, the Banana Bowl was AWESOME! Our family had an absolute blast, and the whole experience was worth it. The entertainment, the players, the atmosphere… 10/10!
BUT… can we talk about the grown adults who apparently think getting an autograph is a full-contact sport? 😂

During the on-field after-party, my 9-year-old son was trying to get an autograph from Coach RAC. Instead, he got pushed back by GROWN ADULTS who were apparently competing for the last autograph on planet Earth.

Listen, I get it. We’re all fans. We’re all excited. But if you’re a grown adult pushing a 9-year-old out of the way to get an autograph, you might need to reevaluate a few life decisions. 🤦‍♂️

These kids look up to these players. For some of them, getting that autograph is the highlight of their entire night. Meanwhile, we’ve got adults acting like there’s an NFL contract waiting for whoever gets to Coach RAC first. 😂

Here’s a wild concept: Let the kids go first.
I promise your life will go on if a child gets an autograph before you do.

Again, absolutely LOVED the Banana Bowl, and we’d go back in a heartbeat. But some of y’all need to remember that the only thing more embarrassing than striking out is being a grown adult throwing elbows at elementary school kids over a signature.

Be a fan. Have fun. Just don’t be THAT adult. 🍌⚾

Tonight was quite an interesting, and I'd also say, successful experiment. While rough around the edges in some areas, it was quite entertaining and combined music, dance, with baseball at a level never seen before.

The vision is obvious- turn each team into multimillion dollar IP. The original song for each one and the associated identity is the beginning of something bigger than we ever imagined when this all started.

But at the rate this game is growing, I think Jesse and the team are going to see this Banana Ball thing 10x itself over the new few years.

This is literally just the beginning. These guys took a massive risk and swung for the fences with the banana bowl, and it was cool to watch.

The amount of entertainment and artists involved in tonight’s Banana Bowl made it BETTER than ANY Super Bowl or Olympic Ceremony EVER!!!

So I think I’ve seen this twice this season, on the tip glove to a teammate catch (which is awesome when combined with another trick catch btw)

The players on base end up running on the “tip” instead of the catch itself (the normal baseball tag up).

To me that kind of punishes that trick play because you’re giving the runner a good extra 2 seconds to get on base.

These writers and artists are crushing it with the new original team songs. What is your favorite?

Such an awesome tribute to The Coles.

It would great if the singers of all the teams got together and recorded an album of various songs.

Jarious(sp) and Brandon from the Clowns could join Party Down for a song, and Jayson and Princess Potassia could sing a duet. Those are just some examples.
