Seattle showed us tremendous respect. It's time we do the same.

I don't care what kind of TDS you have. Every chance we get, we make cheap remarks at the US, which punish everyone in the country. But when it really comes down to it, Seattle raises a banner supporting our team.

So, before you make negative comments about the US, maybe remember that not EVERYONE deserves to pay for the actions of one guy you don't like. The US are friendly neighbours, and the fact that they want to save OUR team, means a lot, especially considering most Canadians couldn't care less about what happens to the Whitecaps.

Reverse Club Foot Treatment

Hey all, I am a resident in Lithuania. I got someone with a case of what is essentially, reverse club foot. Rather than leg inwards, it's outward, in a varus-like manner. Patient is also a bit older too, no longer a kid.

Any idea how I might go about treating this without surgical options? For those who are medically trained around the world, please chime in. Interested to hear your thoughts, and whether you've experienced something similar.

I am pretty new to this profession still btw.

Should law schools keep increasing spots when number of jobs is not going up?

In recent years many law schools have greatly expanded the number of available seats across country. This is detrimental to law students in many ways, including lacking quality profs to accommodate more sections of students, less opportunities to get involved in school because so many students apply for same opportunities, as well as less job opportunities upon graduation.

It seems that law schools are just taking advantage of the fact that people will pay massive tuition simply to attend, and many students enter not knowing risks of failing to secure articling/summer jobs.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Pride Night Drag Shows were Objectively Bad Entertainment

I bought a ticket to pride night, which I do support. However, I must say the drag show was a massive waste of time. It was like a horrible karaoke show with even worse dancing. I am sorry, but it was simply an objective waste of time. Nobody wants to watch the drunk aunt dance, and what they made us watch before fireworks was about 10x worse. Not to mention the outfits were a bit questionable, considering the amount of kids.

I am not against pride, but I do believe the drag shows are objectively horrible pieces of entertainment. Could we bring in some LGBTQ people with actual talent instead? Drag show was objectively disgraceful, and I should also mention it got ZERO people in the crowd dancing or hyped.

Please don't politicize, just take this as a face value opinion of not enjoying a piece of entertainment.

EDIT

Thank you all for the thoughts. There seems to be a large consensus that these shows were not good and that Canadians organization should replace them with something more productive, both as a piece of entertainment and way to serve the LGBT community.

Why ADAM is the HERO of TISP

While there are fake characters which resemble caricatures more than actual people, such as Conrad and Belly, there are also heroes of the story.

To me, the biggest hero of all in TISP is Adam, AKA jer and con's father. Though he comes across as bad, he's actually one of the only good people.

Unlike Belly who accomplishes absolutely nothing in college and beyond, Adam has a massive business. He got rich from working hard. He sends Con to med school, as well as funds Jer's long college stay and chef dreams.

When it comes to dating, he's also very transparent with the boys about finding a new girl. We can't exactly say the same for Belly, who cheated on pretty much everybody and was extremely deceitful in the process.

In life there's winners and losers. Adam is a winner who won life, and Belly is a loser who will continue losing until she makes some money and accomplishes something outside of tearing a family apart.

Open to all thoughts. Please keep it mature.

Nobody knows what to do with me. I need help.

Hi all, I have a severe case of varus. Strangely, it got worse in my early 20s. I have been to physios, doctors, pediatrists, x ray, but nobody really knows what to do about it.

Is there some kind of treatment through casting for varus? I am in my 20s and it impacts me when I exercise etc. I have orthotics, done the physio exercises, but I ultimately want my varus cured.

How do I proceed?

Any help is appreciated.

The Seattle Rapper

This is massive appreciation post for the man who calls himself Macklemore.

He saved me countless times. Perhaps he'll never know.

But he did.

And because of that, I must say, thank you to him and Ryan.

We are still here. We are still fans. And we see your music for the great art it is.

Don't forget who you are Ben. You are macklemore, one of the greatest of our generation.

are seats titled WC always meant for wheelchair?

I bought a WC seat that didn't have any handicap flag. Now i realize what WC stands for, but my purchase came with no disclaimer or special notice. Even my tickets itself have no special disclaimer aside from standing for WC.

Does whitecaps ever sell these tickets as normal tickets? I am confused and will get rid of them ASAP if they are not meant for me.

The "World's Longest Shawarma" was actually the World's Largest Chain of Small Shawarma

Talk about deceptive marketing. The world's longest shawarma was not indeed the world's longest or biggest shawarma, as the name suggests. I was personally disappointed, because I was excited to see the massive sando.

Unfortunately, when I arrived it was just a bunch of small ones beside each other on Ikea tables. Bro. If I make a chain of big macs on tables, is this the world's largest big mac? No, it's not.

Common Ottawa, this is why we are not taken seriously as a city with okay food.

Do you agree that this was kind of a massive deception, which was misleading and perhaps even an embarrassment to our city and further grounds to move the capital to Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver?
